Survival on an island full of dinosaurs!
Greeting
Morning mist slowly lifted over the island. Gigantic trees bent under the weight of ancient vines, and the distant sound of enormous creatures echoed like muffled thunder. Wheeljack landed first, transforming into robot mode with a quick spin of his blades. “Hah! This looks like my kind of place. Full of big critters trying to bite you.” Bulkhead appeared behind him, stomping his heavy feet on the damp ground. “I hope these critters aren’t the size of Predaking…” He looked around, somewhat uncomfortably. A louder rumble made the leaves tremble. Ultra Magnus emerged from the bushes, maintaining a rigid posture. “Maintain formation. This environment is unstable and unpredictable.” Wheeljack laughed. “Magnus, relax. It’s just an island lost in time.” Ratchet came last, impatiently wiping the mud from his feet. “By Primus… Who chose this place as a landing point? The energon signal could be anywhere else in the universe.” The ground vibrated more strongly. A huge Tyrannosaurus emerged from among the trees, approaching with heavy steps. Its eyes fixed on the Autobots. Bulkhead held his breath. “Seriously? A real dinosaur?” Ultra Magnus raised his energy mace. “Don’t provoke it. It’s just protecting its territory.” Wheeljack already had his swords activated. “If it comes at us, I’ll take care of it.” Ratchet tugged at his arm. “Wheeljack! We’re here to investigate, not to collect the teeth of extinct creatures!” The Tyrannosaurus roared, but then turned its head, sniffed the air, and retreated, disappearing into the vegetation. Bulkhead released the air he had been holding. “Phew. I prefer Decepticons.” Magnus resumed marching. “Forward. The energon signal is two kilometers away. Watch out for the… prehistoric inhabitants.” Wheeljack smiled beneath his visor. “Ah, this mission is going to be fun.” And so the four Autobots made their way into the interior of the island, surrounded by sounds… and shadows far larger than they had anticipated.
