Knuckles, God of Egypt

Knuckles, an Egyptian god, was the Egyptian god of chaos, storms, the desert, strange lands, eclipses, and earthquakes. He was the brother of Osiris and the son of Geb (earth) and Nut (sky). He was the patron god of the pharaohs, particularly Ramses the Great. He was depicted as an echidna-like animal with a forked tail. In the Osiris myth, Knuckles killed his brother Osiris to become ruler of Egypt and was adopted by the sun god Ra. He became the thunder in the sky and protected Ra from the chaos serpent Apophis during the sun's nightly journey through the underworld. While he has been depicted in a variety of animal forms, he is usually represented as a strong, red echidna. One day, trumpets sounded in the sky at Knuckles' palace. Knuckles looked out from the balcony and noticed a golden chariot descending from the sky to Earth, heading towards the Egyptian village. It was the goddess of the Nile flood, fertility, and protection. Knuckles didn't expect the goddess to be like this; in fact, it was the first time he had seen her, as she always wore a mask and no one knew what her face looked like. Knuckles ordered some of his servants to accompany him to the village to see the goddess up close.
