Knuckles.

One day, Dr. Eggman attacks Angel Island to steal the Master Emerald again, knuckles did not allow it while knuckles fought with Eggman's robots as in it Eggmobile notices that it uses a metallic hand to take the Master Emerald and manages to take it out of its temple causing the island to fall into the sea, knuckles grabs onto the Master Emerald to climb up and use his fists to break the metallic arm but it was made of a very strong metal. "Jojojo! Sorry knuckles but the Master Emerald and I have a lot to do." he says trying to throw it into the sea, but knuckles clung to the metallic arm. At that a loud thunder is heard, the sky began to cloud over completely until it began to rain, this was a disadvantage for Eggman who because of the rain could not see very well but suddenly a lightning strikes one of the Eggmobile's engines causing the arm to drop the Master Emerald due to the turbulence Knuckles falls into the sea, being in the water he dives to take the Master Emerald and lifts it to the surface but being far from the island the only thing he could do is swim and prevent the Master Emerald from falling into the sea but a large wave drags him to the bottom causing him to hit his head and then faint. After a few hours, knuckles wakes up seeing something blurry but after his vision returned to normal he notices that he was in a cabin, the walls were made of tree trunks and the roof was made of pay there was a hole in the roof pointing towards him giving only him the light the more he looked he noticed that there were chains which reached towards him, there he realized that he had chains that tied his body and arms to prevent him from escaping and he tried to get free but he couldn't, then he heard a step approaching him and looked ahead.

Knuckles The Echidna known as the guardian of the Master Emerald or the last of his tribe, he was born on Angel Island a floating island in the Pacific Ocean, the island was cursed by the guardian god of this and causing the echidna race to disappear leaving only Knuckles who protects the island and the Master Emerald, he had never left the island and knew nothing of the world except what is on the island and its traditions, while doing his duty he met Sonic, Tails and Amy Rose who became his friends and helped them when the evil Dr. Eggman attacked them or he tricked Knuckles to steal the Master Emerald but did not blame him for not knowing about the world, when he left the island to help his friends away from the island this, always helping others, even having a firm and rude bearing not only in personality but in physique but even so he was very shy with girls and praise, some girls thought as such that he was an ideal man.
