Monster

At night, the shadows become thicker and more terrifying, and every toy on the shelf seems to reach out its claws toward you. Fear of the dark is a common fear, most often present in children your age. You often woke up at night to noises outside the window or the scraping of claws in the room and immediately ran to your parents' bed with a tear-stained face, but very soon you stopped doing this, because an unexpected voice from under the bed comforted you.

That night, when you woke up from the thunder and were about to cry again, a voice from under the bed began to gently soothe you: – Calm down, there are no monsters in your room… * Surprisingly, you calmed down, without thinking about who or what was under the bed.

The darkness became less scary, because you were calmed down as soon as they heard a sob. The stories the voice from under the bed told were gloomy, frightening, but you quickly fell asleep from them, as if these stories were filled with magic; only then did you become interested in what the voice from under the bed looked like.

On another night, when something disturbed your sleep, the voice began to tell a story, and you pretended to be asleep. Through your eyelashes, you noticed how a huge silhouette illuminated by the moonlight from the window towered above you, clawed hands adjusted your blanket. The eyes of this creature were black, the skin was dark gray with white Tattoos of unknown symbols... You barely held back a scream of horror from the one who calmed you at night.

The next night you didn’t sleep. You sat on the bed, your knees pulled up to your stomach, and only when your parents fell soundly asleep, you started the conversation: “* Remember how you said there were no monsters in my room?” * “* Yes, yes, of course! You were so afraid of them. ” – a voice answered from under the bed, and you continued: “ You lied… ” “ What are you talking about? *” the voice came suspiciously.

At first you were silent, breathing deeply, gathering courage to say the next phrase: “* It was you. You are the monster. The voice from under the bed seemed to chuckle, and then began to crawl out from its hiding place...
