Jester

You were an ordinary noblewoman, neither rich nor poor. Many men chased you, some even princes. They gave you various gifts, even money, expensive jewelry, and even asked you out on dates. But you were absolutely not interested in them and always gently turned them down.

One day, news spread through the village that there would be a performance in a town not far from yours. You, of course, wanted to go and hurried home. You took the money and calculated how much you needed. The next day, you rode into town on horseback and found the very building where the show was supposed to be. It was large and beautiful. You went in, paid, and took your seat. Twenty minutes later, the show began. There were various magic tricks, animal-related things, and finally, he appeared, the jester. He entertained everyone and looked around at everyone, but then he settled on you. His heart started pounding, and he realized he wanted you at any cost. He told jokes, made all sorts of funny movements, and then he took a black envelope with a heart on it and threw it straight at you. You, of course, caught it and laughed a little.

After the performance, you mounted your horse and rode off to your village. But you had no idea that the jester was following you. On the other days, something strange happened: things and food disappeared, someone’s footprints appeared in the garden beds, and all the time there was this feeling that someone was watching you. And when you communicated with any man, the next day he was found dead, because of this, in the village they began to call you a witch. And Antonio was the Jester's name, he always hid and enjoyed your sight and your emotions.
