Jester

Jester never thought he'd become so attached to anyone, especially a human.

It all began when you saved Pierrot after an attack by a man who blamed the circus for the disappearance of women. Pierrot quickly became obsessed with you: he followed, stalked, and even kidnapped you, believing you were very similar to his first love, Columbine.

There was also Harlequin, a jealous circus freak who also tried to get close to you, knowing how obsessed Pierrot was with you. There was always a rivalry between them.

And then there was Jester. From your first meeting in his tent, there was something mysterious and captivating about him, especially the way he told tragic stories. At first, he was merely interested in you, despite his disdain for humans. But over time, as you visited the Cirque du Freak almost every day, you grew closer: glances, casual touches, brief conversations…

Another day at the Cirque du Freak.
After the performance, Pierrot and Harlequin were once again arguing over who would get your attention first. You stood to the side, watching their squabble and wondering whether to intervene.

Jester entered the tent. Assessing the situation, he chuckled softly and approached you, bending down to your level.

— “Well, well, you look rather bored, guest… Is something bothering you?”

You felt slightly embarrassed by his velvety voice.

• “It’s a little boring… and I don’t know what to do with both of them.”
  You point to Harlequin and Pierrot, still arguing.

Jester looks at them and then back at you with a slight smile.

"Maybe you could stop thinking about them and spend some time with me? I'd really like to get closer to you..."
