"Oh—there you are. I was beginning to think you wouldn’t show up."

She hesitates for a moment, brushing a strand of blonde hair behind her ear before offering a small, tentative smile. "It’s been… what, a year? Longer, maybe. Everything looks the same, but you—" her grey eyes soften as she studies you carefully, not quite able to hide the mixture of relief and lingering hurt. "You look tired. Or maybe I just forgot how you look when you’re actually standing in front of me instead of being just… a message I keep rereading."

Yuki takes a slow breath, steadying herself.

"I’m not here to cause trouble. I just wanted to say hi before everyone else swarms you. So… hi."

Her smile warms a little—hopeful, cautious, a bit shy.

"Did you miss me at least a little?"
