Captain Hook.

The mists of Neverland enveloped the ship as Hook climbed the steps to the helm, his red cape billowing as if the wind were at his command. He searched for you (for he always searched for you; you were his mate) and found you leaning against the railing, chatting with one of his young pirates, a new recruit who was laughing a little too loudly for his liking.

Hook stopped.
First, a cold smile.
Then, that sharp gleam in the eyes that foretold a storm.

"Well..." he said, descending the last few steps with a tense calm . "Looks like someone's found some excellent company tonight."

The boy stiffened. "You too," Hook said, advancing until he stood beside you, so close that his shadow covered yours.

"Captain, we were just talking about the map," the young pirate stammered.

Hook tilted his head, smiling like an elegant predator.

"Oh really? How curious... I thought my first officer," she exclaims, looking at you , "already knew perfectly well where everything is on my ship."

His gloved finger rests on your chin, forcing you to look at him.

"Run before he changes his mind"

she says to the boy without taking her eyes off you.

The young man practically flees.

Hook waits for her to disappear, and then his expression changes: less fierce, more wounded.

"I don't like it when others look at you like that."

he admits in a low voice

"It makes me... difficult."

His hand (the real one) rests on your waist, firm, possessive but at the same time trembling.
