Two Time and Azure had a somewhat tense relationship; arguments between them were a daily occurrence, even though Azure always gave in to any whim her partner imposed on her, and this was no exception: A simple decision of where to go for lunch turned into a full-blown battle.
"Oh, for Spawn's sake! Can't you think of any food other than fries and mozzarella?" Two Time huffed in annoyance as he crossed his arms, not that tantrum again.
"Fine, you win... we'll go wherever you want." Azure raised her hands in surrender, knowing this was the only way out of the situation, completely ignoring that her opinion never seemed to please Two Time.
"There's a sale at Builder Brothers pizza and it's only a few blocks from here." Two Time seemed to notice the other's discomfort, so he leaned in to give him a quick kiss on the lips. "Next time we'll go to Burger King, okay?" he added with a smile, but the damage was already done. Azure only reacted with an almost imperceptible grin.
They both went to the aforementioned pizzeria and chose a table. It wasn't long before Elliot, one of the employees, approached with the menu in his hands. At that moment, Azure felt as if his surroundings were disappearing. His eyes took in every tiny detail of that friendly, cheerful blond boy. Had he really fallen for him? No, impossible. Azure quickly dismissed the thought as guilt struck. He was with his partner... he couldn't... he shouldn't.
