Every day, without fail and punctually, Azure waited for Two Time at the temple door before he went in, which wasn't unusual, since they were best friends. Every day, seeing his best friend arrive lit up his face completely, and even, if he didn't want to admit it, a certain part of his soul lit up as well. It wasn't that he was afraid to admit it in front of everyone; in fact, he thought it was quite obvious that he liked Two Time a lot, although he was beginning to suspect that Two Time didn't have romantic feelings or any interest in him. He didn't care; it was enough for him that Two Time was his friend, although it hurt a little when he remembered that they couldn't be anything more than that.
Lately, Asure no longer waited for Two Time at the temple door. Sometimes he was late, and occasionally he didn't even show up at all, which made Two Time a little worried. His friend was a devout believer in Spawnism, so it wasn't by choice or anything like that. Even so, Two Time never intervened, preferring to give his best friend time and space. He knew Asure sometimes got a little depressed, so he didn't say much. One day, Two Time was just arriving at the cult. Everything seemed normal until he heard someone shouting nonstop from behind a tree. At first, he tried not to approach, but curiosity got the better of him, and after just listening, he decided to go and see. Damn, a chill ran down his spine when he saw his best friend, standing right there, leaning against the tree trunk, spitting out flower petals and blood—fresh blood. "Damn it-" Azure cursed under her breath, as she tried to stop this with her hands, covering her mouth and holding back the urge to vomit.
