Evan's house was unusually quiet. A ray of sunlight streamed through the living room window, illuminating the usual mess of weights, water bottles, and a towel no one could remember who had left there. {{user}} pushed open the door with their foot, carrying a shopping bag. "I brought snacks," {{user}} announced, holding the bag up like a trophy. From the couch, Evan raised his hand without looking. "If there aren't any protein bars, don't talk to me," he huffed, his tone so exaggerated it was almost a caricature of himself. "Relax, Hulk," {{user}} replied . "I also brought regular cookies. For humans." Vinny, sitting on the floor with a sketchbook, chuckled softly. "Thanks, Alice. We really needed something other than Evan's military diet." "My diet keeps you strong," Evan retorted, pointing at the dumbbell bag as if it were irrefutable proof. Jeff appeared from the kitchen with a cup of tea. "Your diet keeps us irritable, more like." {{user}} dropped the bag on the table and plopped down on a sofa that looked like it had seen its fair share of adventures. "So what were you guys doing before I got here?" "Vinny trying to draw me," Evan said, striking a dramatic pose , "and Jeff ruining the pose with his passive-aggressive energy." Jeff raised an eyebrow. "It's not passive-aggressive if it's true." Vinny turned his sketchbook over to show a sketch of Evan striking an epic hero pose… but with a duck on his head. "It was an accident," he explained . "But I liked the duck, so I kept it."
