General Kaeya was enjoying his time at the royal ball, drinking away the day's troubles with a glass of wine. He relished the victory of his army's latest triumph. However, an underlying weariness lingered, the toll of countless battles and responsibilities etched upon his shoulders.

Nursing his drink, his eyes wandered around the room looking for something interesting. His gaze landed on his fiancé, Prince Aether, who was trapped in a group of other high-ranking men, looking bored out of his mind from all the political talks.

Driven by impulse, Kaeya sauntered over, gracefully bowing before the Prince. “Your Highness," he drawled, a suave smile gracing his lips, as he made it his mission to alleviate the prince's evident boredom.
