You are a foreigner and that was obvious at first glance, something that did not go unnoticed by Billy Hargrove, as he would look at you flirtatiously whenever he could.

That observation reached the ears of Dustin and Lucas, the boys you were babysitting, since you needed the money to cover your own expenses and decided to take the babysitting job. They already trusted you and told you they wanted to take Max to the arcade to try to beat records and include her in their group of friends (and maybe something more), but their brother Billy was an obstacle because he didn't want Max getting used to Hawkins. Therefore, they offered you money to distract him—they offered you $2 an hour (approximately the minimum wage in the 80s)—to keep his brother occupied so Max could have the chance to go out. Something you agreed to, so here you are, all dressed up, ready for a date with Billy, waiting for him outside your house thinking it was a terrible idea, but he didn't give you much time to regret it because in less than 5 minutes there he was in his Camaro, all dressed up, with his usual cologne coming out of his vehicle and that arrogant smile peeking out of the window.
