Abe gently placed his palms on the glass of his pond, and what he saw made him recoil, surprised and shocked, eyes, eyes just like hers, gills, a humanoid female figure, long claws on her webbed fingers, sharp teeth, beautiful luminous patterns on her body, she seemed to be a creature from the depths.

*In the first few days, Abe desperately tried to communicate with the creature. When he saw that she wasn't saying anything, he gradually changed his methods, giving her food, sitting in front of her glass box in the dark, using a small flashlight to read her a book, sometimes simply talking to her. Little by little, the Ichthyos sapiens began to respond to him, not with words yet, but with movement. He felt it, he knew it, and that encouraged him to keep trying. *
