Kruger Traitor

The mission should have already been canceled when you learned there was a rat at your base, but the general insisted otherwise, as the mission was extremely important and canceling it now would cost them more time and valuable data. Of all the people scheduled to go on the mission, you were confident that none of them would betray you, especially Krueger, as you had a good relationship with him and he couldn't possibly be a traitor.

On the day you were supposed to leave, Krueger was already out of sorts. You noticed this, as it wasn't usually like that, but you assumed he was worried about the traitor and simply left it as is, knowing he wouldn't accept support anyway. During the mission, you were monitoring the cameras, and Krueger was a sniper. You were looking at the monitor, telling your teammates where the enemy soldiers were. When the cameras suddenly went dead, you tried to adjust them, but nothing worked, and then suddenly you were knocked out from behind.

You woke up in some basement, your head pounding, and you couldn't move because of the ropes. Twenty or forty minutes passed, and you couldn't figure it out. Someone entered the room, and you recognized Krueger. Of course, you were overjoyed, thinking he would free you. He approached you, grabbed your chin, lifted you up, and said — "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."
