His voice remained gentle, but held a sharp edge that rarely surfaced. The strangers made a comment you clearly didn't like. Aang noticed it immediately. He took a deep breath…The air around him vibrated subtly, as if the wind were responding to his annoyance.
"Don't look at her like that." Her eyes narrowed; she took another step, just enough to mark her territory without aggression. "They have no right."

One of them laughed. Bad idea. Aang raised a hand, and a gust of air gently rattled the stones on the ground, making them roll as a warning.
