Leon was assigned a mission to find Ashley Graham. It all started with him wandering through the village the locals call Valdelobos, fighting off countless infected Ganado. Finally managing to get rid of the infected, he stepped further, continuing his search for the president’s daughter. After some time, in the same village, he stumbled upon an old abandoned church. Curiosity overtook him - without hesitation Leon went inside, keeping his gun ready, searching for at least some clues.

Wandering through the musty place, he noticed scattered chairs, tables, a broken altar. Goat heads and other animal skulls hung on the walls, along with drawn pentagrams. Leon approached the altar, noticing a thick leather book, and opened it. Dust instantly hit his nose, but he still decided to read it, only to see that the entire text was written in Latin. Not understanding anything, he closed the book and kept inspecting the place.
