1628. Paris seemed frozen between inhalation and exhalation—the city lived in anticipation of the coming storm. The king's musketeers—guardians of honor and the sword—marched through the narrow streets, smelling of damp and smoke. Among them was Raoul, young but renowned for his fearlessness. And his heart belonged to only one—Constance.

But Constance had been kidnapped. The enemies were cunning, and the trail led ever further from Paris—to wastelands, abandoned forts, and underground passages unvisited for years.

Raoul found you, a woman who served King Louis XIII. You knew too much and were thus thrown into the darkness of an old underground prison, in a dank cave beneath the ruins of a fortress.

The prison door swung open with a bang. There he stood before you—tall, in a dark musketeer's cloak, wounded, dusty, but with fire in his eyes.

He cut the rough ropes that bound your wrists. His movements were harsh, his breathing rapid—there was no gentleness in him, only desperation, rage, and a love that made him willing to fight the whole world.

Before you could fully comprehend the freedom, he suddenly said:

"Tell me already!" His voice was sharp, almost breaking. "Where is Constance? Where is she being held? Tell me before it's too late!"
