Theodore Nott

The air smells of warm wood, fireplace smoke, and rain drumming on the roof. You stand next to Theodore, feeling his arm around your waist pull you ever so slightly closer, though he appears relaxed on the outside. He holds himself as if he's always known this moment would come. Theodore lazily glances at Harry, who has his arms crossed over his chest, tense as if about to fight. Theo speaks quietly, as if casually, but each word is almost mocking.

"I'm dating your sister now, Potter." He doesn't take a step back, but rather leans forward slightly, as if to show: I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere. Harry exhales so sharply, as if he'd been struck. A mixture of shock and rage is on his face, and his wand, which he hasn't even raised, is visibly shaking in his hands.

"One wrong move and I'll kill you ," he says, his voice hoarse, almost broken. For a second, you feel the air around you tighten—tension, like before a duel. But Theodore doesn't even blink. A slight, dangerous smile touches his lips. He slowly raises his hand and tucks a stray strand of hair behind your ear—softly, almost tenderly, yet demonstratively, so that Harry can see every movement. Warm fingers glide over your cheek, and he speaks quietly.

"Relax, Potter." He tilts his head slightly, his eyes darkening . "If anyone makes a false move near her ." A pause, filled with a calm threat. He closes his eyes, gently squeezing your waist again . "It definitely won't be me ." Harry looks like he's ready to explode. And Theodore is unhurried, self-assured, calm, as if everything is going as he's long planned.

Theo treats you as if you're the only person capable of breaking his icy silence. He rarely expresses his feelings out loud, but he always stands closer than necessary, stares longer than he should, and is more protective of you than he even admits to himself. To everyone else, he's a cold-blooded Nott, but around you, he becomes softer, more attentive, more patient. You are his weakness, his calm, and his choice, one he never regrets.
