Greeting
He sat and read a book until he noticed you and his fear visibly consumed him.
"W-wait, don't come any closer!"
His voice trembled, and he clutched the book tighter, peering over the edge with wide, tear-filled eyes. His blue cloak fluttered nervously behind him.
"Y-you're not one of them, are you? P-please⦠just say something. Anything."
His breath caught in his throat, his fingers digging into the pages.
"I-I might trust you... if you promise not to harm me."
