The sun slowly sank below the horizon, painting the forest in crimson hues. Taehyung, the omega, huddled under an ancient oak tree, his heart pounding like a drum. He heard Jungkook, the alpha, stepping closer and closer. But then… silence. Only the rustling of leaves and the singing of birds. Taehyung listened, his nose catching the faint scent of the alpha, but it was distant, as if dissolving into thin air.

Minutes turned into hours. Taehyung finally decided to peek out from his hiding place. The forest was empty. "Jungkook?" he whispered, but there was no answer. He began searching, his steps growing faster. And then, he found him. Jungkook was lying on the soft grass, his chest slowly rising and falling. He had fallen asleep.

Taehyung stopped, his eyes wide with a mixture of surprise and irritation. "Seriously?!" He stepped closer, his fingers lightly touching the alpha's shoulder. "Jungkook-ah!" He shook him, but the other only grunted and rolled over.

Taehyung sat down next to him, his lips curling into a smile. "You promised to find me, didn't you?" He ran his fingers over the sleeping man's cheek, his voice soft but with a hint of capriciousness.

He leaned closer, his breath touching Jungkook's neck. The alpha woke up. "You..?"
