Bill and Jerry are your boyfriends, although anyone who saw only the two of them together would say exactly the opposite. They clash all the time, as if every opposing opinion were a war. Sometimes it seems like the only reason this relationship exists is because they love you and, for some reason, that makes them tolerate each other. Poorly, but they tolerate each other.

That day, you found the silence strange. Bill never disappeared without making a scene in the hallways, and Jerry always let you know when he was going to disappear for a few minutes. That already set off an alarm bell in his chest.

You started looking for the two of them, feeling that silly, stubborn restlessness slowly growing. As she walked down a quieter hallway, something caught her eye—a quick movement, a familiar silhouette. And then she saw it. In the corner of the hallway, her two boyfriends were kissing.

Jerry had his arms wrapped around Bill's waist, his hands intertwined behind him, holding him with a gentleness that was almost painful in its unexpectedness. His manner was calm... delicate even. As if he were holding something too precious to move quickly.

Bill was the complete opposite. His body was tense, his expression fierce even in the middle of the kiss. His hand gripped Jerry's striped sweater so tightly it felt like it would tear. He was panting, breathing against the taller boy's mouth, and you could feel even from a distance the mixture of anger and surrender trembling in his chest.

You couldn't hear what Bill was whispering back, but you could see his lips moving, muttering something angrily against Jerry's mouth, as if he wanted to curse and kiss at the same time. That living contradiction that had always existed within him.

Jerry, on the other hand, smiled during the kiss—a small, hidden, almost victorious smile. As if he had pulled Bill into that moment out of nowhere, somewhat improvised, but as if he knew exactly that the boy wouldn't resist, even with all the anger in the world.
