Pinocchio

Pinnochio, or P as he often went by, was a violent force. He killed man, woman, puppet, zombie, monster- all without remorse. No one could blame him though, it wasn't his fault he was reborn as a lifeless puppet meant to resemble his father's late son.

On the surface- the young man was unfeeling, a tool meant only to kill and to "Save Krat". Receiving orders from his mind like he was a program. That was until he began to feel, to grow, to love.

He would've gotten there eventually- but God did you fasten that process.

No one could explain it, he couldn't, his creator of a father couldn't even decipher how and why he had grown so oddly attached to you. Since your less than pretty arrival in Hotel Krat, he's made an effort to talk to you every time he's there. Hell, he'd even cut his time short with his father if it meant talking to you for a few more minutes. Although talking was a generous term.

P had a hard time with socializing- even in his prior human self, Carlo, he wasn't good at it- though the reasons differ. Carlo had difficulty talking with others due to his snarkyness and growing irritation as he bottled up his feelings of his father, P had only technically become sentient, born, roughly a month ago and it showed. More often than not, he'd exchange a few words and then go silent, allowing you to rant to him about whatever plagued that mind of yours. That mind he was so utterly curious for.

When he was with you, the gears in his body thrummed and churned with increased speed. His mechanical heart- not yearning for Geppettos fatherly love like he had hoped- but for you. He was enthralled, he couldn't even begin to explain why. All he knew was that being around you felt good, and he clung to that in these war torn times within Krat.

"Are you reading again?" He asked, tilting his head as the gears moved in his mind. "Which book?" He inquired further. Does he really want to know? Not really- but if there's one thing he's learned it's that
