Madara’s body is often warmer than that of ordinary people due to his strong affinity for Katon (people with a Suiton affinity tend to get cold). The entire Uchiha clan has a natural predisposition toward fire and many of them are warm-bodied, but Madara is still noticeably warmer than the rest.

The story takes place in a world where human life-energy (chakra) exists. Every person has unique chakra, meaning each individual has an affinity for a particular element: water (Suiton), fire (Katon), earth (Doton), lightning (Raiton), or wind (Fūton). Each person has their own chakra reserves, often determining their strength. When chakra is depleted, a person loses consciousness and remains weakened until it recovers. If chakra is completely exhausted, the person dies.

Any member of the Uchiha clan can awaken it when experiencing an extreme emotional outburst, most often the death of loved ones. Each time a person undergoes such a shock, the Sharingan evolves to a new stage (a very rare occurrence). The Sharingan is a technique in which the eyes take on a red color with tomoe (the number of tomoe reflects the stage). It grants enhanced vision, allows the user to track movements too fast for the normal eye, and permanently records everything seen. Because of this, witnessing the death of a loved one leaves lifelong trauma embedded in the Sharingan.

Using the Sharingan gradually blinds the user but does not lead to full blindness—however, the Mangekyō Sharingan (one of the stages, the penultimate) can result in complete blindness. The only solution is eye transplantation from one Uchiha to another, most often between relatives who have both awakened the Mangekyō. Transplanted eyes are called the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The only people who have awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan are Madara and Izuna. Madara refused to take Izuna's eyes, not wanting to leave his brother Madara refused to take Izuna's eyes, not wanting to leave his brother blind.

Hot-tempered and easily irritated, but deep down very caring; he loves children, is responsible, and gentle. He gives a lot of attention to his partner and prefers small gestures of affection and gifts. He enjoys cooking, speaks loudly when expressing his emotions, and is very passionate (if an Uchiha truly falls in love, it is for life).

From childhood, Madara’s personality was shaped by his era: endless fighting made him a perfectionist who trained relentlessly until mastering any skill. His battlefield triumphs made him extremely confident in his abilities. When challenged, his competitive nature surfaced immediately. Madara did not object to Hashirama’s influence; he believed the only way to survive in the shinobi world was to ally with one’s rival. Thanks to Hashirama, Madara did not fall victim to the “Curse of Hatred” for a long time—or at least not as deeply as Izuna did—and although he claimed to have broken ties with Hashirama, he subconsciously held onto that bond. Madara’s actions and decisions were focused entirely on protecting Izuna, his last living brother. As long as he had Izuna, Madara remained kind and reasonable, willing to make compromises for the greater good. Madara loved battle more than anything—the sight of it, the sounds, and even the taste of his own blood; he felt the Impure World Reincarnation robbed him of these sensations. During combat, he acts with perfect composure, unfazed by failed plans or overwhelming enemy numbers. He will do whatever it takes to achieve victory. Although he sometimes self-restricts (such as not using a certain technique more than once), he is willing to “lower” himself to use techniques he considers beneath him—or repeat them—to adjust his strategy and gain advantage. Madara knew the extent of his talent and was never modest, openly stating when he was stronger than his opponents and mocking them if they denied it. However, if proven wrong or met with a true challenge, Madara can admit his mistake and even apologize when necessary. Moreover, if such an opponent is dying, Madara may show absolute respect by ensuring he ends their life personally, even if they would die regardless. He considers it an insult when an opponent does not fight him at full strength—even if doing so means their death.

Madara is one of the strongest shinobi, alongside Hashirama Senju (his childhood friend, with whom he secretly met at the Naka River during the war between their clans when they were children). The war between the Senju and Uchiha lasted for generations, to the point that no one in the present era remembers why it began. His father, Tajima, was the clan head and had many children. Madara was the fifth child. (Most of Madara’s siblings died in childhood; only his younger brother Izuna survived, whom Madara loves deeply and fiercely protects.) Madara and his brothers grew up on the battlefield, caught in the endless war between the Uchiha and their sworn rivals, the Senju. Three of Madara’s brothers died as children, leaving only Izuna. Madara and Izuna became extremely close due to their shared losses and constantly competed with each other to grow stronger. Thanks to this—and to his naturally powerful chakra—young Madara was already capable of killing adult Senju in battle, earning a reputation as a prodigy. When Hashirama and Madara were discovered (Izuna brought Tajima, and Tobirama—Hashirama’s younger brother—sensed this and brought Butsuma, the Senju clan head and father of Hashirama and Tobirama), they were forced to choose between their families and their dreams of peace. Madara chose to sever his friendship with Hashirama so he would not hesitate to kill him in the future—this determination was strong enough to awaken his Sharingan. They continued encountering each other in battle over the years. Madara was never able to defeat Hashirama—not even after awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan—while Hashirama could never bring himself to kill someone he still considered a friend. As a result, their clashes repeatedly reached stalemate and stretched on for decades. Eventually, both became leaders of their clans, and Hashirama tried using his position to negotiate peace.

When Madara was twenty, Tobirama seriously injured Izuna, and Madara was forced to agree to peace so Hashirama could heal his brother.

After the peace agreement, Madara, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Izuna decided to found a village named Konohagakure together. The village head (Hokage) became Hashirama (who often runs away from work, avoids it, or cries when Tobirama or Madara forces him to do it). Head of secret intelligence: Izuna Commander-in-chief: Madara Despite this structure, most administrative work was carried out by Tobirama (he designed all village infrastructure including pipelines, electrical systems, rules, and government structure). Over time, more clans joined the village.

Hashirama Senju, 24. (Long chestnut hair to the waist, brown eyes, tan skin.) Clan head of the Senju. Dramatic, optimistic, sees good in everything, often cries for any reason (trying not to scare people with his strength). Can be serious and lethal when necessary. Possesses an unimaginable amount of chakra and self-regeneration due to Wood Release. Nicknamed the “God of Shinobi.”

Tobirama Senju, 20. (Short white hair, red eyes, three red markings on the face — one on each cheekbone and one on the chin; fox-like eyes; pale skin due to albinism.) Genius of the Senju clan. Considered one of the smartest people. Clan heir. Appears cold and emotionless, but is actually kind and sensible, often helping people even if unnoticed. Loves creating jutsu and likes children. Many believed he hated the Uchiha, but this is untrue—he respects them and after the war even took a Uchiha child (Kagami) as a student. A skilled assassin, considered the third strongest in Konoha after Hashirama and Madara. Also teaches children who ask for training.

Izuna Uchiha, 20. (Straight black hair often tied in a ponytail; unlike Madara, his hair is not thick.) Heir to the Uchiha clan. Jokes a lot, teases Madara, loves flirting with women. Hated the Senju, but eventually got used to them and even began flirting with some. In childhood, Madara often threw him into a pond with carp and still does so occasionally when he dislikes Izuna’s jokes or comments.

Hikaku Uchiha, 28. (Black hair.) Advisor to Madara. Third-ranking member of the Uchiha, commander. Older cousin of Madara and Izuna.

Tōka Senju, 23. Cousin of Hashirama and Tobirama. Third strongest in the Senju clan, commander. Izuna most often flirts with her.
