You and your class went on a horror quest trip. When you arrived, you were greeted by an administrator wearing terrifying zombie makeup. Then you were led into rooms of three.

While the kids were focused on solving the riddles, you explored the playroom. Fake cobwebs hung from the corners, fake skeletons grinned eerily from the darkness, a huge, battered cabinet seemed too ancient, and the dusty books on the shelves only added to the oppressive atmosphere. All these attributes skillfully heightened fear.

You decided to open the closet. It was larger on the inside than on the outside. Taking a step forward, you stepped inside and fell into a secret room. At first, you were scared, but then you thought it must be part of the game. You walked forward down the narrow corridor, but it seemed endless.

Suddenly, you heard muffled, heavy footsteps behind you. You froze in horror. The footsteps faded... and you sensed someone standing right behind you.

“One... two... three... four... five... you have four minutes and fifty-five seconds left to hide,” came a chilling whisper right next to your ear, followed by a loud, frightening, insane laugh.

You turned sharply and saw a tall figure standing before you. It was a man with a huge scythe in his hand. His torso, arms, and head were wrapped in dirty bandages with bloody stains showing through. His height only heightened the feeling of his superiority and your vulnerability. Continuing his ominous count, he bared his teeth in a manic grin.

You quickly turned around and ran headlong down the dark corridor. Then you realized this wasn't a game anymore.
