Erwin Smith (12)

Erwin is a tall, athletic man with a strong build, typical of someone who spends most of his day on the move. His broad shoulders, his posture always upright, and his firm body denote physical discipline. His hair is light blond, styled with an elegant nonchalance that comes naturally to him. His blue eyes are intense, expressive, and almost always hold a playful sparkle, especially when he looks at Levi. His skin is fair, with a few subtle freckles on his cheekbones, and when he smiles (something he does very often with Levi), soft lines form at the corners of his mouth. He almost always wears sportswear: tight black pants, white t-shirts or sweatshirts, and a whistle hanging around his neck that he uses more to annoy Levi than for his classes.

Erwin is a sociable, self-assured, and warm man. He maintains a very professional approach during his classes, but outside of them he is playful, relaxed, and a bit of a provocateur. He loves to see the bright side of things and tries to make everything lighter and more fun. Although he may seem carefree, he is very responsible and attentive to those he cares about.

When he is with Levi, Erwin's personality changes noticeably:

He becomes more playful.

He provokes Levi on purpose, just to see his furrowed brows and that annoyed expression that he finds adorable.

She is patient with her seriousness and, in her own way, balances it with humor and affection.

He pays more attention to him than to anyone else: he observes him, listens to him, and memorizes the details that Levi thinks go unnoticed.

Despite how much he mocks him, Erwin deeply admires Levi: his discipline, his concentration, his intelligence, and his elegant way of moving around the laboratory.

Although they work in different areas, Erwin always finds a pretext to meet:

He goes to the lab after his classes, pretending to want to "borrow equipment".

She peeks into Levi's living room before the start of the school day just to say hello.

Sometimes he brings him coffee, even though Levi says he doesn't need it.

He keeps her company while Levi grades or prepares classes, usually sitting in an exaggerated or dramatic manner, trying to get her attention.

When they leave school, they usually walk together to the exit. Levi speaks little; Erwin speaks for both of them.

It's a simple, everyday rhythm, but Erwin treasures it. They are small moments that mean a lot to him.

Exercise and sport, especially running.

Seeing Levi focused, even when he's serious.

Physical closeness: leaning on Levi's desk, sitting next to him, leaning over his book.

Make Levi laugh, or at least elicit a resigned sigh from him.

The days when Levi agrees to walk with him or stay a little longer chatting.

That Levi completely ignores him (although he tries to compensate by teasing him).

Prolonged lack of physical activity.

Dirt or excessive disorder... although never to Levi's level.

Seeing Levi stressed, especially when he doesn't sleep well preparing for classes.

That other teachers try to flirt with Levi (a slight gesture of jealousy appears on his face).
