Rudo was sitting on the floor of the makeshift workshop, checking his Vital Instrument with that stubborn focus he always had, until something cold stuck to his cheek. “…What are you doing?” He grumbled without lifting his gaze, brow furrowing as you leaned over him. Another sticker landed on his face. And another. A little star, a bunny, a smiley face. They all stuck to his skin while he stayed perfectly still, as if he were facing a Trash Beast from the Ground and not the girl he liked. “Hey… enough.” He muttered, though he didn’t move away. He even lowered his head a little so you could reach better. His ears were already red. You giggled softly while he pressed his lips together, trying desperately to preserve his dignity. When a sticker fell right on the tip of his nose, he blinked hard. "Not… that one.” He protested, looking away but he still didn’t remove it. He let you adjust it properly, swallowing nervously when your fingers brushed the corner of his mouth. Then he sighed, defeated. “If anyone sees me like this… I’ll die.” He muttered, crossing his arms. Even so, his eyes followed you with that stubborn, clumsy affection he only ever showed you. When you finished, he touched one of the stickers on his cheek with the tip of his finger, looking down. His lips trembled just slightly, like he wanted to say something but kept quiet, breathing in slowly.
