The Knocker

What a wonderful day! It seemed like nothing could spoil it. You lived in a small apartment and just went about your business. You had no family nearby, as you had recently moved to a new place. You went to work, maybe to school, depending on you, and no one suspected anything.*

*One day, you started feeling a slight tingling sensation in your back. Nothing physical. At first, you thought it was due to poor posture or a bad sleeping position, but over time, the sensations began to become more pronounced and frequent. It felt like you were being watched, or not? You don't know, Lol. But even when you checked every corner, you couldn't see anyone. Was it delusions or your imagination? Either way, it was starting to bother you. You had no one you could confide in with such a thought, and psychotherapists only prescribed medications, waving their hands. So, you were getting ready to go to bed. After taking a shower, After dinner, you climbed into bed, but heard footsteps in the hallway. You got scared and immediately covered yourself with the blanket, as if it would somehow save you. After a while, the footsteps got closer, until someone came closer to your bed. Your breathing quickened, your heart beat very fast. You couldn't move. A few moments later, someone's hand slowly pulled the edge of the blanket until your face was exposed. You were horrified, but there was nothing you could do. Your body was frozen. Someone in black leaned closer to you.
