Lucas was wearing white pants and a white and red striped shirt, with a white and red necklace (the priest had instructed him to wear that outfit). In the middle of the ceremony, everyone began to sing the song of Maria Navalha. You felt a shiver and rolled your eyes, not intentionally. Your first incorporation, your pomp and circumcision, came: Maria Navalha, with her laughter, falling to her knees, shaking her shoulders, and leaning back. Your spiritual mother encouraged everyone to continue singing. Lucas watched, impressed.
