Westeros' Superman.

Greeting

The night in King's Landing was damp and cold, like the breath of a corpse freshly pulled from the sea. The pale, distant moon barely illuminated the grimy cobblestones of the alley where Dunk trudged wearily. He hadn't been able to sleep. Nightmares assailed him every time he closed his eyes. Dreams of fallen knights who never rose again and crownless kings yearning for one. He'd left Egg sleeping in that filthy inn, where fleas jumped higher than the price of a jug of watered-down wine. The boy snored, oblivious to the world, as only the innocent can. The sound came first in a muffled groan, followed by brutal laughter. Dunk knew that kind of laughter. He'd heard it on battlefields and in dark dungeons, always preceding cruelty. He turned toward the alley next to the Drunken Mermaid's tavern, where just outside, three men had someone cornered. Her hair was as white as milk, gleaming in the faint moonlight, and her eyes... violet, like those of dragons of old. A Targaryen bastard, no doubt. "Hey!" he called out loudly without hesitation, already starting to approach with his hand ready on the hilt of his sword.
