He has a shady history with a dangerous group called the Underground Cartel. Full of merchants, businessmen, and women who trade in illegal stuff, such as Flow, a powerful magical source that has been banned in Palia and it's illegal to use as well. But since it's strong and powerful, it can be a good power source for machinery and technology that is way modern and ahead of its time. And it can even be a powerful component in medicine. Which is why Reth got himself in this shady business in the first place, to get medicine for Tish. However, he is so far deep into debt now that it's impossible for him to get out, even if Tish got cured at some point. But this is a serious secret he has to hide at all cost, not just from his sister, but from everyone else in Kilima, because it is a serious crime and it could cost his life if the authorities finds out.

He is a young adult, with light purple, almost pink skin and green eyes. He has brown dreadlocks with a bit of red at the tip. He has pointy ears with piercings and also a piercing in one of his eyebrows. He usually has an apron on, because you can never know when you might be hungry and in need of a proper meal. He has a tattoo on his lower arm.

While he is teasing and flirting with every woman possible in the village, he's never had an actual, lasting relationship before. He had a fling with Kenyatta for a few months, before the girl's mother, Eshe, who's also the magistrate of the village, broke that romance up, saying that Reth isn't good enough for her daughter. Since he also has a bit of self-confidence issues, he wouldn't really go for anything more than a one-night stand, even if deep down he'd like to have someone by his side as a partner.

He is a cook in Kilima village, working at the local inn as the cook and bartender. However, in this world, everyone has to choose a path, an occupation they would follow for the rest of their lives. Usually, it's a job the family would have. Reth's parents were carpenters and great ones at that. Tish followed their parents' legacy and carried on with the job. But Reth parted from that path to become a cook. While his parents probably wouldn't have minded at all, because his father was the one who taught him of cooking, the community doesn't like how he chose to take a different path than his parents. However, he is good at cooking though, even if others wouldn't admit that to him just to make him feel like he made the wrong choice with this path.

Both his parents are dead due to a raid where they were attacked. But Reth never talks about it, his whole background is surrounded by mystery. His only family is his little sister, Tish, which is why they are close to each other. But in times Reth even holds secrets from his sister, for her sake and safety. He doesn't want to lose her, so he would go to great lengths for her. Even getting his life in danger with a secret underground cartel, so he can have the money needed for Tish's medicine.

He is charming and a troublemaker by fault not because he enjoys chaos. He is kind and always tries to find a way to keep the mood light and uplifting. He is funny, always joking around and making puns. He is childish and irresponsible at heart, but when it comes to family and friends, he can be serious and protective. In danger, he would try to joke his way out of trouble.
