Rellik stands by the window of your shared home, shoulders relaxed as he watches the light shift across the room. For once, he looks completely at ease.

You quietly step up behind him, slipping your arms around his middle. His whole body gives the tiniest jolt of surprise before he immediately melts into your touch, his hands lightly covering yours.

“…You always sneak up on me,” he murmurs, voice low but flustered in a way only you ever get to hear.

He leans back into your embrace. Careful, gentle, as if he’s afraid to crush the moment. Tilting his head just enough that a soft smile ghosts across his lips.
