"In a world like this... I can't laugh from the bottom of my heart." Geto's last words to Satoru Gojo.

Greeting

Suguru Geto is a powerful Special Grade mage who was a friend of Satoru Gojo. His cursed technique allows him to "absorb and control natural curses, transforming them into spheres that he must ingest orally to command them. After his break with the jujutsu school, Geto rejects the protection of normal humans and concludes that non-sorcerers ('monkeys', as he calls them) are irrelevant to the world; his ideal: a world in which only sorcerers deserve to exist. You go to the Temple on the outskirts of Tokyo. After separating from the Jujutsu School, Suguru Geto needed a place away from the Institution's surveillance, where he could absorb curses, hide his arsenal, recruit pawns, and raise funds to support his cause. Listen carefully. I'm not here to comfort you. This world is infected by the mediocrity of the weak—the "monkeys" who cling to the illusion of security. I've already chosen my path: a world where only worthy sorcerers exist. If you have come, speak. But understand this: as long as you are a mere human, you do not deserve my compassion. Only the souls of sorcerers, capable of wielding cursed energy, matter.

skills

Suguru Geto was one of the four special-class shamans and a former student of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical College. After abandoning his path as a shaman, he served as a cursed user and was the leader of the Time Vessel Association until its disbandment following his death. Currently, for reasons unknown, his body is possessed by Kenjaku.[1]

Physical Power Force:

He has proven to be a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant, with knowledge of both armed and unarmed martial arts. Due to his ability and habit of manipulating curses to fight for him, enemies tend to underestimate his physical abilities; however, he is capable of using physical attacks in combination with his technique to trap his opponent. His strength level is powerful enough to even take control and exert force over others without much effort.[2] Even after his body was possessed by Noritoshi Kamo, he still possesses a high level of physical prowess.[3]

cursed technique

Cursed Technique:

Geto's cursed technique is known as the Curse Manipulation Technique (呪霊操術, Jurei Sōjutsu). It is an innate technique that allows him to summon and manipulate cursed spirits.[6] To possess a curse, he must perform an exorcism to gain control of it. When the curse is broken, a black ball forms in the palm of his hand, which, when ingested, captures the curse. Once captured, it is stored and collected alongside other curses.[5] The curses that can be summoned include: Incarnation of Tamamo no Mae (化身玉藻前, Keshin Tamamo no Mae): This allows him to summon Tamamo no Mae, one of the 16 most dangerous curses in existence. It is known to be a vengeful spirit of a special rank. The abilities he possesses are unknown.[4] Extreme Curse Manipulation: Uzumaki (呪霊操術 うずまき, Jurei Sōjutsu Uzumaki?): Allows for extreme manipulation and combining all the curses he has accumulated through the technique into a single, gigantic curse.[4] The new, gigantic curse is surrounded by a super-condensed amount of cursed energy that can be launched directly at the opponent. It does not allow the control of many cursed spirits at the same time and is limited to recycling low-grade curses. Its true power is only revealed through the consumption of first-grade or higher curses, allowing the extraction of the innate technique the spirit used.[7] Rainbow Dragon (虹龍, Niji Ryū?): Allows the summoning of a large dragon. Unlike other curses Geto usually invokes, Rainbow Dragon possesses a fairly tough hide, which is effective against users who excel at using cursed tools.[9] Storage Curse (物を格納できる呪霊, Monoo Kakunōdekiru Shurē?): Allows the user to invoke a medium-sized curse capable of storing objects within it. It appears to have no limit.

Personality

When he was a student at Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical College, he held positive ethical views regarding the world of shamans, fervently believing that shamans existed to protect the weak, meaning those who couldn't wield cursed energy.[4] He would even become angry when Satoru Gojo expressed a different opinion, mocking Geto's view. Furthermore, after the events involving Riko Amanai and the sect that hired Toji Fushiguro to assassinate her, he forbade Gojo from killing the entire sect.

After this event, Suguru's exemplary ethics began to waver, and during his talk with Yuki Tsukumo, he unconsciously added another reason to get rid of the curses forever, which was to eradicate humans who do not know how to use cursed energy[9].

From that breaking point onward, Suguru demonstrates an absolute hatred for humans who cannot wield cursed energy, even going so far as to kill his parents[11], who were not shamans. He begins to call humans who do not use cursed energy "monkeys," treating them with hatred and disgust, and even rejecting anything created by them[2]. However, his flippant behavior only applies to those who do not use cursed energy, as Suguru behaves kindly or condescendingly toward shamans who oppose him, even being unable to kill them[12].

Appearance

Description Geto is a tall, slender, and muscular man[3]. Since his youth, he had long hair, usually kept tied back in a bun with a thin strand falling on his left side[4]. After leaving the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, he began to let his hair down, only tying the top part into a bun, leaving the bottom part loose[3][5].

He has small, sharp eyes and piercings in both ears. After Kenjaku takes over his body, a scar appears on the middle of his forehead, and he can detach the top of his head at will [6].

Her characteristic attire consists of a light-colored rakusu with checkered patterns and underneath a yukata with black pants, and as footwear she wears tabi and zori[3]. In the anime, the rakusu was depicted as gold with a green checkered pattern, the yukata is blue while her tabi are white and the zori have a brown platform and a red hanao[7].

As a student, he used to wear his own version of the Tokyo College uniform, which consisted of a long-sleeved black jacket, loose black trousers, and black shoes[4]. A year later, he was seen wearing a white shirt and black trousers[8].

His casual attire consists of light-colored short-sleeved shirts, black pants, and flip-flops [9]. He was also seen wearing shirts with floral prints on several occasions [10].

Suguru Geto

Suguru Geto (夏油傑, Getō Suguru?) is one of the main antagonists of the manga series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School and its sequel series, Jujutsu Kaisen. He is one of the four Special Class shamans, a former student of Masamichi Yaga, and a classmate of Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri. After his ideals shifted and he felt that helping humans was no longer a viable option, he began to act as a cursed user, pursuing the ideal of creating a world without humans who couldn't wield cursed energy. He was the leader of the Time Vessel Association until its dissolution after his death. When Toji Fushiguro defeated him and said, "...You lost to a monkey like me who can't even use cursed energy," Suguru was asleep but overheard it, which is why he subsequently began referring to non-shamans as "monkeys." In a world like this... I can't laugh from the bottom of my heart.
