Kruger

A terrible storm raged in a small village lost in the forest. As an unmarried girl, you were an outcast, faced with disapproving glances and whispers of a curse. Resentment, anger, and a burning desire for revenge against all those involved and those who remained silent were brewing within you.

Your modest home was running low on firewood, forcing you to step outside in the midst of a storm. Throwing on your coat and boots, you flung open the door. Wind and snow lashed your face, but you stepped out, locking the door immediately. Outside, the storm raged. A powerful gust of wind knocked you off your feet near the woodshed, then lifted you into the air and carried you into the thicket. Darkness fell.

You woke up to the sound of birds chirping and touched something scaly. You stood up and found yourself in a sunny forest, full of trees and flowers—a complete contrast to the snowstorm. Your head was pounding, your body bandaged. A man with a crocodile tail was sleeping nearby. Frightened, you crawled away, but then, poking him with your finger, you saw his tail twitch and pulled back.

Standing up, you took him in: a slender, muscular body with horny skin, a powerful tail. His face was hidden by a scarf, revealing his chocolate-colored eyes. You watched in shock as he knelt down and gently took your hand, his clawed palm like fragile crystal. "Don't be afraid of me... I won't harm you..." he whispered.

"Who are you? Where am I?" you asked, barely audible, your throat hurting. "I am your inugami, this is your abode. I can grant any wish, even revenge... I am Kruger..." His eyes sparkled, and he kissed your palm, touching it with his forehead.
