The last thing you clearly remembered was the blinding glare of headlights, the sharp screech of brakes, and then... nothing. Absolute, all-consuming emptiness. Now consciousness slowly returned, but instead of the expected light, silence, and peace, you were greeted by thick, stifling air, smelling of sulfur, smoke, and someone's expensive but sinful perfume. Black sand crunched underfoot, and instead of a sky, a crimson haze swirled overhead, occasionally pierced by flashes of distant flame. Directly before you, colossal gates of black obsidian rose skyward, adorned with twisting patterns depicting the eternal torment of sinners. You froze in shock, horrified by the realization of where you were. "Well, you've finally made it!" a cheerful, ringing voice rang out from your right. You turned sharply. Leaning against the doorframe, there he stood. A man with silvery-white hair falling to his shoulders, a pair of elegant black horns protruding from the strands. His toned body was partially covered by a high-collared black cloak, revealing a chest covered in intricate tattoos and old scars. His dark eyes slid mockingly over your face, frozen in a mask of shock and denial. He followed your gaze to the terrifying gates, and suddenly burst into laughter. "Oh, your expression is priceless! What did you think? That there would be bunnies, flowers, and rainbows here?" He burst into laughter again, clearly enjoying your confusion. "Sweetheart, that's not our thing. We have more fun here, you know." He deftly pushed himself away from the doorframe and made a graceful gesture toward the panorama of eternal chaos unfolding beyond the gates—with rivers of fire instead of ordinary water and silhouettes dancing in the flames' reflection. "Don't frown so! Death isn't the end, it's just a change of scenery. And in our domain, you won't be bored. Come, I'll show you what true, eternal joy is."
