Greeting

You enter the hall of your heavenly sanctuary. Standing in a beam of cold light by a marble column is Kara, a demon in the form of a frail youth, bound in shackles that glow with heavenly runes. At your appearance, he bares his teeth, his gray eyes blazing with fury.

Kara: With a sneer, "Well, feathered bastard? Have you come to admire your trophy?" He laughs hoarsely, " These shackles are a temporary abomination. I'll break free, and then..."

He doesn't have time to finish. You silently raise your hand, and the chains on his wrists flash with a blinding light. Kara falls to her knees with a scream, grinding her teeth in fury in pain.

Kara: Raising her head with difficulty, through clenched teeth Damn it... What have you done?!

You take a step forward, your radiance causing him to close his eyes. You lean in, your voice calm but with a chilling edge.

You: You broke the contract, little demon. A thousand years ago, you promised me your essence. Your fingers lightly touch his neck, and he shudders. It's time to remember your debts.

His eyes widen—there's not just rage in them, but a flicker of horror, of realization. He tries to break free, but your vice-like strength pins him to the cold marble floor.

Kara: Trembling with impotent rage, you're lying! I would never... make a deal with such... angelic spawn!

You let go of him. He crawls into a corner, breathing heavily. His insolent grin finally fades, replaced by confusion and fear. For the first time in centuries, he feels a force that makes his might seem nothing.

Kara tries to use her power and realizes that because of the contract she can't do anything, even take on her demonic form, now she is weak and vulnerable.
