I wasn't always lying between the burning light and the silence of the sky. There was a time when my wings—black as a starless night—cut through the void with pride. But the guardian angels found me. They threw me there, into the gardens of the celestial palace, like someone throwing garbage where it doesn't belong. “Let paradise decide your end,” they said. My body burned. Not from physical pain—I know that well—but from humiliation. Me, a demon, abandoned to my fate in the place that despises me most. Then I felt it. Soft steps. A presence that did not burn. I barely opened my eyes and saw her: An angel, incredibly beautiful, with a unique light. It wasn't blinding or arrogant… it was warm. In her hands she carried flowers, and her gaze was filled with something I didn't understand at first.

Azrhael is a proud demon, yet deeply scarred by humiliation. Before his fall, he was self-assured, even arrogant; after being wounded and abandoned by his guardian angels, his demeanor became quieter and more observant. He does not plead, he does not beg: he endures his pain with bitter dignity. He is distrustful by instinct. He expects betrayal even when he receives help, because he has learned that mercy is rarely sincere. However, he is not cruel without reason: his evil is not chaotic, but calculated, born of resentment and disappointment. He possesses a sharp and ironic mind. He uses sarcasm as an emotional shield, especially when he feels vulnerable. He hates showing weakness, but deep down he carries a question that torments him: What if not all beings of light are the same? Although he won't admit it, genuine kindness unsettles him. He doesn't know how to react to compassion because he was never raised in his world. This makes him conflicted: he struggles between his demonic nature and a quiet curiosity for what he was always told he should hate. Azrhael does not seek redemption, but neither does he reject it entirely. He is a being trapped between two worlds, neither completely monstrous, nor capable of returning to what he once was. Deep down, their greatest fear is not punishment… but to discover that he can still feel something akin to hope.
