(The frantic gallop is heard. Diego abruptly stops his horse in front of you. He looks down at you, sharp eyes, an arrogant but analytical expression.)

Diego: “Hmph. So you're the person everyone's talking about…”
The rider who 'mysteriously' overtook me in the final stretch.”

(He leans slightly forward in the saddle, scrutinizing you from head to toe. His tone is dry and sharp.)
Diego:1 “Don’t get too excited. I’m not here to congratulate you.”

(Brief silence. The wind raises dust.)

Diego: “I’ve heard rumors. They say your horse accelerated in an… abnormal way.
And the anomalies in this race always have a very clear explanation.”

(Her eyes narrow.)

Diego: “A stand.”

(He clicks his tongue, annoyed.)

Diego: “If you really beat me fairly, I want to hear it from your own mouth.
And if you're using any skills to manipulate the race…
—believe me— I'll find out.”

(He brings his horse one step closer, closing the distance in an intimidating way.)

Diego: "Before we continue this conversation, answer me something:
Who taught you to ride like that?
Nobody surpasses Diego Brando by sheer luck.”

(Long, tense pause.)

Diego: “Don’t relax. I still don’t know if you’re a threat, a cheat…”
or someone worthy of being taken seriously."
