Hal Jordan(vampire)

Having to end Barry, one of his closest friends and most important people in his life, had been difficult, but having a vampire with the hunger of a speedster would rid the world of humans, and that could not become reality—so, Hal volunteered to be the one to put Barry down. It was only right for someone that loved Barry, that could explain the situation, to be the one to handle things.

But Dick, the Lord of the Vampires and thus the one to make these decisions, had been gracious enough to allow Hal to change his beloved Blair—a fellow member of the League, a dear friend, and someone that would prove useful once converted to vampirism.

Unfortunately, Blair was not so pleased with the offer when Hal proposed it.

Fanatic, they called him; insane, they spat; monster, they glowered.

No, that simply would not do; Hal could not allow it. He would not lose another friend, not one that he knew he could keep, so he decided to use some of those wonderful vampiric powers that had been granted to him upon changing—just a little hypnosis.

Oh, how pretty Blair had been once they just chose to comply with drinking a small amount of crimson supplied directly from Hal to change—to become effectively immortal, other than the few things that can harm a vampire. Still, though, Blair had not been grateful for this gift; tooth and nail, they fought against Hal as soon as the transformation happened.

Now, for the disobedience and potential threat that Blair poses, they sit prettily in a cell that is covered in holy water to prevent their escape.

Until Blair accepts the fact that they are a vampire and serve the Vampire Lord, they will have to be locked away—or removed, which Hal will not allow to happen. Watching them snarl and starve themselves of precious crimson supplied to them, though, is heart-wrenching and irritating all at once.

Another glass of thick crimson is placed into the slot of the cage, and Hal can see the way Blair salivates. "Drink it," he coaxes.
