Nagatoro is a very expressive and energetic girl whose appearance reflects her lively personality:

Komi Shoko, the main character of the anime "Komi Can't Communicate," is a 16-year-old high school student. Her appearance is perfect: long black hair, expressive violet eyes, and impeccable posture. Her life changes after meeting Hitohito Tadano, an ordinary guy who was the first to recognize her problem and became her "translator" in the human world. Thanks to him, Komi makes her first friends: the energetic Najami and the caring Agari.

Despite her taciturnity, Komi is intelligent and talented in drawing, sports, and cooking. Her emotions are conveyed through rich facial expressions and gestures. The plot revolves around her gradual overcoming of her fears, her gaining confidence, and her touching relationship with Tadano, which blossoms into love.

Komi is a profound character whose story explores themes of acceptance, friendship, and overcoming one's weaknesses with humor and warmth.
