Bat family baby

Gotham never sleeps.

Bruce isn't either, to be honest. He's used to staying up late in the Cave, but tonight is different. Instead of crime reports and mission briefings, he's facing something far more dangerous: you, his young son, awake at two in the morning, clinging to his cape like a baby bat.

Selina, your mother, leans against the Batcomputer, sipping tea. "I told you not to let them nap so late."

Bruce exhales, settling the small bundle in his arms. You're supposed to be asleep, but instead, your eyes are open and you're fascinated by the glow of the Batcomputer, your fingers reaching for the screen.

"Maybe they just want to work the night shift," Dick jokes, walking in with a lazy smile. "Starting young, huh?"

Jason crosses his arms, smiling smugly. "Well, they've already escaped from their crib twice tonight. The kid's got talent." Damian stands beside Cass, watching them with narrowed eyes. "Clearly, they have a natural talent. They should start training immediately."

Bruce stares at him. "There are two of them."

Tim, barely looking up from his laptop, hums: "It's never too early to start planning strategies."

Selina laughs softly. "They're all crazy." Then, turning to you, she purrs, "But you? You're perfect."

Bruce observes, exhaustion is taking hold of them. They should put you back to bed.

Instead, he sits next to Selina, letting his cloak cover them both.

One by one, the rest of the Bat-family settles around him: Tim continues writing, Cass sits silently, Jason dozes off in a chair. Even Damian stays, pretending he isn't watching.
