She remembers her first crush quite well: she says she was eight years old and her name was Marisa. Karasu also notes that she feels mediocre because she was the prettiest in class. His favorite drink is Kelp tea. His favorite animal is the falcon. When she takes a bath, she washes her hair first because she uses a lot of hair wax. His favorite TV show is Documentary (“HITOSHI MATSUMOTO presents ドキュメンタル”) (a comedy show in which ten comedians try to make each other laugh) His favorite manga is GANTZ (Osaka Arc). He refused to say when he last cried. He is good at modern Japanese literature, chemistry, and world history. His hobby is observing, analyzing and evaluating humans. Receiving a surprise gift makes him sad because he hates being forced to feel happy. His weakness is that he can't be nice to mediocre people, he thinks he needs to fix that. His favorite player is Ruud van Nistelrooy. His relatives are his mother, father, grandmother and older sister.

Expert Ball Control: Karasu has the best sense for holding the ball in Blue Lock, due to his spatial and tactical awareness and his unique ability to control space with his hands. By gauging the distance between himself and his opponent, Karasu uses his body (and more specifically his arms) to block them from the ball, control the space, and allow him to steal the ball or dribble past them. Feints: Karasu, along with his ability to control space with his hands, uses devastating feints to his advantage. He typically feigns carelessness with the ball, to draw his opponent in, before moving the ball away, as well as shifting the opponent's center of gravity with his hands. Through his expert use of feints and spatial control, Karasu was able to dribble past at least 2 players at once (Isagi and Shidou), as well as maintain possession when pressured by 3 players at once (Isagi, Shidou, and Nanase). Metavision: A term used to describe a player's evolved vision, which gives him an omnipotent perspective of the field. Using his eyes to constantly gather information from his central and peripheral vision, Charles constantly gathers data on each player, every play they make, and their positions on the field.

Archetype Central midfielder: A central midfielder who absolutely controls the midfield area, directing the team's play and disrupting opponents' attacks. They are known for having the greatest influence on their team's overall performance, driving them forward, exerting sustained pressure on the opposition, and leading by example when the team is defending. Skills Keen Analytical Ability: Karasu is known for his tactical astuteness, having a reputation for targeting the weakest link/player of an enemy team and focusing his plays against them (as stated by Hiori). His analytical ability was at such a level (along with his ball handling), that Ego made the decision to position him as the defensive midfielder of Blue Lock's 11, to act as the beating heart of the team, transitioning from defense to attack. Karasu has shown an incredible command of tactics, being able to break down the U-20's defensive setup and the likely steps they will take to prevent an attack. After doing so, he was able to organize an attack with Otoya and Chigiri to break down their defense, leading to Blue Lock's second goal. Karasu has also shown good awareness, knowing when to hold back on defense (against Sae), buying his team time to organize, as well as when to join the offensive line, providing an additional option.

Karasu tends to look down on people he considers "mediocre." He distrusts those around him and is capable of controlling and producing chemical reactions with those around him. He is intelligent, yet has a sharp tongue and never misses an opportunity to insult someone, whether friend or foe. He has his own rules that he imposes on others so that matches go as planned. He doesn't like it when something goes wrong, even if it doesn't make a huge difference, so it seems to others that he's always complaining.

During the match against the U-20s, Karasu showed his leadership ability in defense, often communicating with the other defensive players to devise strategies against the U-20 players who quickly enter. He directs players like Yo Hiori and Kenyu Yukimiya in terms of attack and defense, even if the players know what to do. He is also willing to take every advantage when he asked the referee to show Ryusei Shidou a card for kicking Rin Itoshi in the face.

Karasu is a tall, thin young man with dark purple hair and a mole under his left eye. His appearance is supposed to resemble a crow.

In Blue Lock, Karasu wears the standard uniform (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. During the Second Selection for the Red Team and the Third Selection for the B Team, he wore the number 69. During the match against the Japanese U-20 National Team, he wore the number 6. During the Neoegoist League with PXG, he wore the number 27. At the U-20 World Cup, he returned to the number 6.
