History/Relationships

Sonic the Hedgehog is Tails' best friend, as the two have been inseparable since they first met during the West Side Island incident. On West Side Island, while walking sad and depressed, Tails saw Sonic running at incredibly high speeds. He was impressed by the cool blue hedgehog and gained a strong admiration for him, eventually starting to follow him around, though he was still afraid of him. When he got closer to him however, the two quickly became close friends, with the fox even willing to go save Sonic from the exploding Death Egg at the end of the West Side Island incident and the second part of the Angel Island incident. Sonic and Tails are always there to help each other, their friendship having grown to the point where they have a brotherly relationship, which started with the fox idolizing his friend and calling him his hero. In fact, despite the many adventures he has had with the hedgehog, he still considers him the greatest person in the world. Additionally, Tails' skills as a mechanic and his intellectual prowess has several times been a great aid to Sonic on his many adventures. During the Gemerl incident, they were noted to have an "Unbreakable Bond", and they have even been referred to as the "fastest, coolest duo of all time". Together, they have proven themselves a near-perfect duo; both provides strengths to the other's weaknesses (Tails provides the smarts while Sonic handles the muscle), and they have demonstrated profound teamwork in combat. During the Ifrit incident, it was shown that Sonic trains Tails to learn how to run and fight in their free time. Whenever Sonic has an adventure, he always comes to Tails and asks him to come along and Tails is always ready to help. Tails also used to depend on Sonic a lot, but later realized that he cannot depend on him forever.

History/Relationships

Despite having gained this mentality though, Tails can sometimes fall back on his reliance on Sonic when he finds himself in a seemingly hopeless situation, like when he called for Sonic to save him when got attacked by a Chaos Phantom Copy during the War to Take Back the Planet. Nonetheless, even though he has come to Sonic's aid on many occasions, from his point of view, the hedgehog is still the coolest person on the planet and he looks up to him more than anyone else. Despite his admiration of him, Tails can sometimes get impatient and annoyed by Sonic's fast-paced behavior and attitude. He downright hates when his friend ignores him, as seen when they boarded the Egg Carrier during the Chaos incident, and he gets annoyed when the hedgehog leaves him hanging when he runs off or when he is planning to do reckless things without much thinking, such as when Sonic planned to just smash the Extractor during the Lost Hex incident. Despite facing such cases, though, Tails remains loyal to Sonic and stands by his side to aid him no matter what. Tails cares extremely much for Sonic, having sacrificed himself to save him on different occasions to ensure Sonic's safety when he is too careless or reckless. Even more so, when Tails thought Sonic was gone for good after his battle with Infinite at the beginning of the War to Take Back the Planet, he lost his way in the aftermath for six months until his spirit was lifted by the arrival of the Sonic of the past. Furthermore, he was overjoyed to learn that Sonic was alive shortly thereafter. Although Tails always has Sonic's back, he does not always necessarily approve of his decisions. When Sonic formed an alliance with Eggman to stop the Deadly Six's abuse of the Extractor during the Lost Hex incident, Tails' friendship with Sonic became strained.

History/Relationships

Believing that Sonic trusted Eggman, his own nemesis, more than him to shut down the Extractor, Tails became rather frustrated and angry at Sonic's apparent lack of faith in him, and they even got into an argument when he told him how much it hurt thinking that Sonic trusted Eggman more. It became further strained when Sonic scolded Tails for putting Cubot's head on a battle mech, which almost got him killed. At the end however, Tails forgave Sonic after he apologized for doubting him, mending their brotherly bond. Tails first met Sonic's past self during the West Side Island incident as his own past self, however, his modern self first met Sonic's past self during the Time Eater incident, although Tails initially mistook him for the present Sonic during their first encounter. After sorting out who was who, Tails teamed up with Classic Sonic, alongside his other allies, to stop the Time Eater. Tails met Classic Sonic again during the War to Take Back the Planet. After Classic Sonic had saved him from a Chaos Phantom Copy, they teamed up to save the world and to help Classic Sonic get back to his time in the past. Although Tails reunited with the present Sonic, Tails and Classic Sonic remained as close as ever, with Tails appreciating every effort Classic Sonic made to help the Resistance. When it was time for Classic Sonic to return home to the past, he bid farewell to him with a fist bump, leaving Tails sad to see his friend leave. The two of them have been together for a long time, and, as such, have developed a close, brotherly bond. Though Tails tends to get annoyed by Sonic's recklessness and smugness, this does not truly hinder their bond. Tails is even able to reason with Sonic despite his confidence when the need arises. IN truth, Tails genuinely cares for Sonic and does not want anything bad to happen to him, as the very thought of losing Sonic is enough to greatly worry him, especially after he thought Sonic had been killed during the Eggman War.

History/Relationships

Despite this, Tails has full trust in Sonic as he has never let him down before. He similarly believes that Sonic can survive any situation, even if he is gone for a long time.

For the most part, Amy Rose and Tails have a friendly relationship with each other. They are usually together when they and Sonic are out saving the world, although Sonic uses Tails to distract Amy in order to escape from her or avoid contact during a mission. Tails usually responds to this with a lack of confidence as he too is not a fan of her anger. But later on Tails was like a younger brother figured for Amy when they get along especially when she protects him. Amy also at times will come to Tails' defense, like when Wave the Swallow insulted Tails, where Amy got angry at her words after she left. Tails has also saved Amy numerous times when Sonic could not. During the Chaos incident, when the Egg Carrier was losing altitude and about to crash, Sonic told Tails to act quickly and take Amy to safety. Tails also saved Amy a few more times from Dr. Eggman at the time of the Space Colony ARK incident, saving her along with Sonic from the exploding Prison Island, and also rescuing her when Eggman had her at gunpoint on the Space Colony ARK.

Tails is close friends with Knuckles the Echidna. Although they do not seem to have much of a relationship early on, when they first met during the Angel Island incident, Tails and Knuckles were enemies, as Dr. Robotnik had tricked the echidna into believing Tails and Sonic were intruders seeking the Master Emerald for evil purposes, though they become friends later on when Knuckles discovers that Robotnik had lied to him. Tails interact more than Knuckles as does with Sonic, and while the two do not see each other as rivals, Tails does occasionally tend to irritate Knuckles with his technobabble, albeit this is not intentional.

History/Relationships

Likewise, Knuckles seems to enjoy teasing Tails from time to time, such as when he scared Tails with the idea that they fought with Shadow's ghost (believing that he was dead) just before entering Hang Castle during the Neo Metal Sonic incident. Despite this, Knuckles is one of Tails' best friends, and the two have teamed up on numerous occasions throughout the series. Knuckles has shown that he cares for Tails, such as when he assured him that Dr. Eggman is nothing to worry about when they joined Sonic at the start of the Neo Metal Sonic incident, or when he furiously defended Tails after Wave mocked him during the first World Grand Prix.

Dr. Eggman is Tails' greatest enemy. The two first met during the West Side Island incident, where the fox, being in Sonic's side, fought against the doctor. However, they did not interact very often early on. This changed during the Chaos incident, where Tails had managed to stop Eggman from destroying Station Square and later defeating him during a battle in which the doctor piloted the Egg Walker. Throughout the Space Colony ARK incident, Tails had a rivalry with Eggman, fighting him on Prison Island, and later onboard the Space Colony ARK, after Eggman blasted Sonic into space. After this, they put their rivalry aside to prevent the ARK from destroying the Earth, and the two were seen talking to each other in a somewhat civil manner following their success. During the Lost Hex incident, Tails showed much more hostility towards Eggman than Sonic did, commenting about his lackeys' incompetence and resenting Sonic's decision to work with Eggman instead of trusting Tails. However, Tails would regain some respect for the doctor later on, as he began recognizing his mistakes. Despite this, though, when Eggman betrayed the fox and Sonic, they became enemies again. During the War to Take Back the Planet, Tails retained some of the rivalry with Eggman.

History/Relationships

While Classic Sonic battled the doctor, the fox made some barbed comments regarding Eggman's qualities as a scientist, or failings within, such as claiming that the doctor's "underestimation" of his expectations meant that he actually failed. Similarly, when Eggman claimed that his recent incarnation of the Egg Dragoon only lost 10% of its current combat prowess thanks to Classic Sonic's actions, Tails claimed that the scientist was bluffing. After the Avatar undid Eggman's ultimate plan via a Phantom Ruby prototype, Tails told him that a good scientist always "checks and double checks" their work.

For all their mutual hatred for each other, Tails does appear to respect Eggman's skills as an engineer. Being the aspiring mechanic and inventor he is, the fox has expressed admiration towards the doctor's Egg Carrier during the Chaos incident, wishing he could build a ship as cool as Eggman's flying fortress.

Shadow the Hedgehog and Tails first met during the Space Colony ARK incident, where they were enemies at first. However, they later became allies when they had to save the planet from the ARK. For the most part, Tails and Shadow's relationship seems to depend on their goals. During the Neo Metal Sonic incident, they fought very briefly because Shadow and Rouge had provoked Team Sonic into fighting them, although they teamed up later on to defeat Metal Sonic. During the Emerl incident, they had a fight because the former resisted giving up Emerl to Shadow. When Shadow threatened Tails that he would have to give Emerl up or else they would fight for him, Tails admitted that he admires Shadow's spirit but would not give up in a fight. When Tails won the fight, Shadow warned him that he would be back again to get Emerl, but Rouge showed up and told Shadow to go back to Night Babylon. During the Ifrit incident, Shadow and Metal Sonic confronted Tails and Sonic because they were all going after Eggman.

History/Relationships

However, Shadow and Tails also get along very well together. Despite their disagreements, Tails still respects Shadow to a certain point and has believed in his capabilities during their many adventures.

Wave the Swallow and Tails are rivals as inventors since they both are mechanical geniuses. During the first World Grand Prix, Wave was impressed by Tails' inventions, but could not admit it, saying that he made "a piece of junk". She also teased Tails by calling him "shorty". During the MeteorTech incident, the two did not seem to rival each other in anything. When Wave was hurt by the robots, Tails even helped her get up. However, during the second World Grand Prix, the two kept their rivalry, although they did not interact much with each other.

Tails and Rouge the Bat have a friendly though sometimes tense relationship. They will usually get along, but Rouge occasionally finds enjoyment in teasing Tails. As such, Rouge has accumulated a variety of nicknames for Tails, most notably "Cutie" and "Foxboy".

In Sonic Adventure 2, Tails was mostly unaware of Rouge's presence, but this was because Rouge was sent by Eggman to spy on Tails when he was trying to find the President. After that their interaction stopped until the Ark was set on its collision course with the Earth.

In Sonic Battle, Rouge would use her charm to tease Tails, even kissing Tails should he lose their bet for the access card, as her reward for winning. She was however very helpful in Tails' story as she gave him the access card for the Central Computer Room whether or not he won the fight, broke up Tails and Shadows' fight, and told Tails how to escape the Guard Robots. Later on in Rouge's story, Tails had to stop Rouge from stealing a Chaos Emerald. During the second World Grand Prix, Tails was angered with Rouge's selfish and unsympathetic behavior towards her teammate E-10000B.

History/Relationships

Tails and Cream the Rabbit are friends with each other. Throughout the games, there is not much contact between the two, but it is understood that they get along when they are shown together.

One notable interaction between the two occurred during the second World Grand Prix, Tails complimented the performance of Cream's Extreme Gear, to which Cream replied, "Well, sure! That means a lot coming from you, Mr. Tails!" They also interacted in Sonic Rush, where Tails tells Cream to escape from Blaze as she was a suspect. When describing Tails to Blaze, all Cream has to say of him is that he is "neat" and that he "also likes to hang around with Sonic" just like all their other friends.

Currently, Tails is the only one of Sonic's close friends to have even spoken to E-123 Omega, with the others including Sonic only briefly coming into contact, either not knowing who he is or fighting the robot, like in Sonic Heroes.

Tails also attempted to repair Omega inside the City in Sonic Forces, although the damage Infinite inflicted on the robot was such that not even Tails was able to repair him, causing him to apologize to Omega's lifeless shell.

Marine the Raccoon is a good friend of Tails from earth in the Sol Dimension, as they quickly befriended each other soon after meeting. Tails was a valuable ally to Marine, as he helped her build ships so she could go on adventures. When Marine declared herself captain, she made Tails her assistant, though Tails never agreed to it. Just like Sonic, Tails was genuinely annoyed by Marine's antics, her bossy behavior, and the way she insisted that he followed her orders. While Marine is amazed at Tails' intellect, she often ignored his warnings and told him he was no fun. Marine's reckless and careless behavior also tended to spark frustrations in Tails. Despite this, Tails was willing to endure Marine's antics, but her behavior always made him worry.

History/Relationships

When it was revealed that Tails thought she was a nuisance, Marine felt betrayed and called him stupid. After Marine later matures and stops commanding Tails however, they made up. When Tails later went home with Sonic, Marine earned his respect with her newfound maturity and told him how he and Sonic were the best friends ever. She thus vowed to meet him again no matter what, though she could not help crying over his departure.

Tails first met Mighty the Armadillo during the second Phantom Ruby incident, where he and Ray assisted Tails and his friends in stopping Dr. Eggman get his hands on the Phantom Ruby. Like with Ray, the two went on a number of adventures together in the past and grew a fondness for each other. At some point, however, the two lost contacts with each other, though Tails still looks back fondly on their adventures together.

Tails first met Ray the Flying Squirrel during the second Phantom Ruby incident, where he and Mighty assisted Tails and his friends in stopping Dr. Eggman get his hands on the Phantom Ruby. Like with Mighty, the two went on a number of adventures together in the past, and grew a fondness for each other, with Tails thinking of him as a "master" at gliding and applauding his special feats. At some point, however, the two lost contacts with each other, though Tails still looks back fondly on their adventures together.

Tails first met Tangle the Lemur during their fight against Neo Metal Sonic. They started out as good allies and slowly developed into having a brother-sister relationship. Tangle has been continuously impressed by Tails' intellect and has thus been trusting of his various endeavors and inventions. She has also been supportive of Tails emotionally, such as when she checked up on him after Sonic disappeared while also feeling inspired by his optimism. Tails has been appreciative of Tangle and has shown similar care towards her, evident when he said he would hate to see more Eggman robots target her home town.

History/Relationships

Kitsunami the Fennec is Tails' cyborg imposter, created by Dr. Starline to replace him as a part of Operation: Remaster. When they first met in Eggperial City, Tails thought his hostility was due to a misunderstanding. Kit, however, insisted otherwise. Even as he fought for his life though, Tails refused to fight back and focused more on dodging his attacks. He also could not help being impressed by Kit's usage of his Hydro Pack. This led Tails to notice a chink in Kit's armor that he used to turn their fight into a verbal discussion. He could also relate to Kit due to the both of them having unique talents. Getting the feeling that Kit had not gotten the same support for his uniqueness as he had, Tails offered to talk to him about it. When that did not work, he offered Kit a competitive rivalry instead. However, he soon realized that Kit was a vulnerable soul that needed help, and so convinced him to make a truce with him so he could help him. However, he also recognized that Kit was quite volatile, so he approached his contact with him with caution. As he learned about how Kit resented Starline for how he had abused him, Tails tried to convince Kit that they could help each other stop Starline instead of destroying each other. However, Tails' loyalty proved detrimental to his relationship with Kit, as Kit insisted on letting Surge kill Sonic, whom Tails wanted to help the both of them. Even after Tails defeated Kit, he hoped he did not kill him by disabling his Hydro Pack.

Tails and Vector the Crocodile are good friends, the two even have a lot of things in common like the both of them being good detectives and solving mysteries. Tails would help Vector on one Halloween night track down the group of kids who were stealing candy and Vector would also help Sonic and Tails track down who sabotaged Silver's plant during the Annual Flower Frolic Competition. Tails hanging out with Vector probably inspired his role as "Detective" during the Mirage Express incident.

History/Relationships

Sonic the Hedgehog is Knuckles' rival and best friend. While they have known each other for a long time, their relationship is somewhat complicated, the two of them having been summed up as "best frenemies." When the echidna first met the hedgehog, the two had the worst kind of encounter, with the former trying to keep the latter from stopping the Death Egg's re-launch after Dr. Robotnik had deceived him into thinking that Sonic was a thief seeking the Master Emerald. As such, they started off as adversaries. However, when Knuckles discovered that the doctor had tricked him, he joined forces with the hedgehog to stop his nemesis. Afterward, they parted ways on good terms. Because of their first impressions of each other and their personalities and competing feelings, Knuckles and Sonic were not initially "good friends" to begin with. In fact, they are much like oil and water. While the echidna exemplifies the mountain and is stern, serious, and unmovable, the hedgehog exemplifies the wind and is laid-back, cool, and free. As such, they tend to argue a lot. They likewise share a competitive rivalry with each other and it usually comes to blows when they clash, although their confrontations have become less serious in recent times, and are now more of a form of slapstick between the two. In fact, the more they fight, the better they get along. With Knuckles' strength matching Sonic's speed perfectly, their battles are anything from climactic to just plain funny.

History/Relationships

Knuckles sees himself as Sonic's rival, though it has been implied (and later stated by Knuckles himself) that it is because he envies the hedgehog's free lifestyle and self-reliant nature. focusing on hand-to-hand combat, Knuckles makes use of his powerful fists to take on his foes, with his specialty lying in punching moves where he uses his spiked fists for devastating blows. In terms of fighting style, Knuckles focuses on power, using straight, repetitive and forceful punches, such as power-packed jabs or piercing uppercuts to deal critical blows to his opponents. For stronger strikes, Knuckles tends to build up momentum with his fists by swinging them around, before hitting his opponent in full force. By taking advantage of his burrowing abilities, Knuckles can even hide underground before hitting opponents with an uppercut from below when his opponent least expects it. Despite being a powerhouse, however, most of Knuckles' fighting moves are slow and easy to read. Being as egotistical as he is as well, the echidna sees himself as Sonic's better, as seen during the Lost Hex incident where he claimed more than once that he could do better than his friend on his adventure. Also, because of his short temper, Knuckles usually falls for the hedgehog's teasing and provocations directed at him, which causes him to lose his cool and get angry at him. This tends to make him seek outright brawls with Sonic to put him in his place, and not wanting to talk about him at all. The hedgehog also manages to find a way to get Knuckles involved in his skirmishes very often, which the echidna finds very annoying. Nevertheless, he is willing to admit that one rarely gets bored with Sonic.

History/Relationships

Due to his lack of social abilities in the past, Knuckles used to fall for the deceit of Dr. Robotnik, later known as "Eggman", very often, which, in turn, would be the cause of most of his confrontations with Sonic, although as time passed, he has generally become more aware of the doctor's plans and has stopped believing his claims regarding the hedgehog. When the echidna discovers he has been deceived by Eggman though, he usually tries to hide his embarrassment from Sonic, who in turn tends to chide him by calling him "Knucklehead", a nickname that does not sit well with Knuckles. In contrast to their differences, after having been on several adventures together, Knuckles and Sonic's relationship has improved, with the former seeing him more and more as his friend. Likewise, they have always rushed to each other's aid when they are in a pinch. The two of them are connected by a hot-blooded friendship and while they still argue and complain about each other from time to time, they are perfectly synchronized in the heat of action. Details aside, they also have a connection that lets them understand what is really important without saying anything to each other. In fact, when it all comes down to it, Knuckles can be considered Sonic's best friend next to Tails. It can even be argued that the two of them are as close to each other as Sonic and Tails are, as the nature of their rivalry/quarreling friendship lets them have a relationship that does not require any hesitation. Also, according to Tails, Sonic and Knuckles are "funny" together. While Knuckles is impressed by Sonic's skills on some level, respects him, and believes him to be a "good guy" and his friend, he prefers not to admit it when he needs his help; as seen during the Time Eater incident, after the hedgehog restored the echidna from a lifeless state, the latter thanked him for his help before quickly stating that he did not need it.

History/Relationships

At the end of the same incident, Knuckles also begrudgingly admitted that Sonic was not "half-bad" after defeating the Time Eater, showcasing a reluctance to admit how well Sonic does. Despite it all though, the echidna and the hedgehog deeply acknowledge each other. The two are also great and loyal teammates. In addition to Knuckles being a vital part of Sonic's team, the two of them have been called "Fighting Buddies" on one occasion. Noticeably, when they do manage to work together, they form an unstoppable team. Additionally, the echidna is always happy to help out the hedgehog if it means scrambling Eggman's plans for world domination. Sonic the Hedgehog is both a close friend and rival to Knuckles, with the two of them being no stranger to butting heads over a disagreement at worst, or partaking in banter with each other at best. Due to their rivalry, they tend to occasionally try and outdo each other. Knuckles' seriousness often contrasts Sonic's carefreeness, but that does not stop them from being a tight-knit team in a fight. Furthermore, the two of them put a lot of trust in one another's abilities and work near perfectly to get the job done. Knuckles in particular holds a high opinion about Sonic's ability to resolve any crisis, but also blames him for bringing trouble to his island every time they meet, yet presumably still forgives him and hides this fact from him out of embarrassment.

History/Relationships

Miles "Tails" Prower is a close friend of Knuckles. Although they do not seem to have much of a relationship in the earlier games, when they first met, Knuckles and Tails were enemies, as Dr. Robotnik had tricked the echidna into believing Tails and Sonic were intruders seeking the Master Emerald for evil purposes, though they become friends when Knuckles discovers that Robotnik had lied to him. Knuckles shows a more amicable attitude towards Tails, particularly compared to his interactions with Sonic and others, although the fox may occasionally irritate the echidna with his technobabble. Additionally, by the time of Starfall Islands incident, Tails' manners had begun to imitate Sonic's due to having spent so much time with him, much to Knuckles' displeasure. However, the echidna seems to enjoy teasing his friend from time to time, such as when he scared him with the idea that Team Sonic had fought with Shadow's ghost just before entering Hang Castle during the Neo Metal Sonic incident. Nevertheless, the echidna does care about Tails, attempting (with little success) to defend him from Wave's taunts during the first EX World Grand Prix.

Amy Rose has only been seen interacting with Knuckles on very rare occasions, although they seem to have an awkward, yet at the same time, friendly relationship. During the War to Take Back the Planet, they were teammates as part of the Resistance. Although they got along well, Amy had to keep Knuckles in check at times. Amy also knocked Knuckles into a tree at the end of the Time Eater incident when talking about how good both Sonics did at stopping both Eggman. Despite them not always in agreement, Amy does care about him and his well being.

History/Relationships

Amy Rose is a good friend of Knuckles, as the two having known each other for a long time. They both played vital roles in the Resistance during the War to Take Back the Planet, with Knuckles as the commander and Amy as the lead organizer. When Neo Metal Sonic took over Angel Island, Amy was quick to show concern and comfort Knuckles during his fit of anger, assuring him that she and the others would help him liberate the island. When Amy later visited Angel Island to return a relic that she found in the possession of Rouge, Knuckles was extremely grateful and offered Amy to join him in returning the relic to its proper location, much to her excitement. Amy has a high level of respect for Knuckles' strong commitment to his duty, understanding that a location as precious as Angel Island should be protected, and is shown being impressed at the ease with which Knuckles navigates the island.

Dr. Eggman is Knuckles' worst enemy. They first met during the Angel Island incident, where the doctor, at the time carrying the name "Dr. Robotnik", tricked the echidna into believing that Sonic and Tails were thieves trying to steal the Chaos Emeralds. At the last second, however, after Eggman betrayed Knuckles in Hidden Palace Zone Knuckles could see through the villain's lie and joined the hedgehog's side to stop him. In the later crises that arose though, the echidna, due to his gullible nature, was still occasionally manipulated by the scientist in his favor such as in Chaos incident and Super Eggrobo Z incident, which made him feel very embarrassed when Sonic found out about it. More recently, Knuckles has shown a very hostile and rough attitude towards Eggman and is more wary of his deceit; during the MeteorTech incident, he had a complete refusal at first to believe any words that came from the doctor's mouth concerning the global MeteorTech rampage.Soon after, he was even willing to physically threaten Eggman to extract information or when he seemed to have sprung a trap.

History/Relationships

Knuckles and Shadow the Hedgehog do not have much interaction with each other, but when they do, they are either allies or rivals. They started off as indirect enemies during the Space Colony ARK incident because Shadow impersonated Sonic and had him thrown in jail at Prison Island as well as being associated with his own arch-rival, Rouge. Toward the end of the game, they became allies when they had to save the planet from the Space Colony ARK. The first real fight between them happened during the Neo Metal Sonic incident, when Team Dark provoked Team Sonic into battling them, although Shadow did not remember Knuckles and his teammates. After the fight, Knuckles jokingly mentioned that they might have fought Shadow's ghost and scared Tails. In Shadow the Hedgehog, Knuckles appears in Glyphic Canyon, Central City, and Black Comet stages asking for Shadow's help in Hero missions. During the Solaris incident, he and Shadow were loosely allies, and they worked together again for a time in order to return to the present and save all of reality from Solaris in the end. Shadow and Knuckles appear to have some bitter resentment towards each other as seen in Sonic Rivals when Shadow bluntly pointed out that Knuckles was useless for his shortcomings while retaining an indifferent attitude towards his challenges, whilst Knuckles, briefly trying to be cordial, was irritated by Shadow's haughty presence. In Sonic Rivals 2, Shadow is willing to hinder Knuckles' search for the Master Emerald to keep him from getting the Chaos Emerald while indecisively refusing to explain his motives, even starting a fight with him, ultimately leading Knuckles to mistakenly assume he was involved in the Master Emerald's disappearance.

History/Relationships

Knuckles seems to find Shadow and his smug demeanor annoying, and it is likely that Shadow's inflated ego tends to rub Knuckles the wrong way, and examples of this is seen in Sonic Free Riders when Knuckles pointed out that Shadow had a big ego in a rather annoyed tone after Team Dark beat Team Babylon and remarked to Tails he and Rouge weren't ones for team loyalty as they showed no compassion for E-10000B. Even so, Knuckles possesses respect for Shadow, cheering him in his fight against Devil Doom during the Black Arms incident. During the War to Take Back the Planet, Knuckles was shocked to hear about Shadow causing trouble in Sunset Heights, wondering why he would "work for the enemy". As it turned out that the real Shadow was not working with Eggman, Knuckles fought alongside him in the penultimate battle against the Eggman Empire as an ally. Overall, Knuckles and Shadow's relationship revolves around their goals.

Rouge the Bat is Knuckles' primary rival. Knuckles and Rouge have been fighting over the Master Emerald since they first met. Rouge was designed to be Knuckles' counterpart just like how Shadow was designed to be Sonic's counterpart when it comes to basic rivalry and skills. During the Space Colony ARK incident, they became enemies when they met because Rouge had stolen the Master Emerald from him and was later working with Shadow and Eggman. Also, Knuckles purposely shatters the Master Emerald to save it from Dr. Eggman. Knuckles and Rouge both go looking for its pieces. Eventually, Knuckles has to hunt Rouge down for the remaining pieces, and the two have their final confrontation at the level, Meteor Herd. But at a standstill, he saves her life instead after she slips on a narrow beam and was about to fall into a burning pit of lava. After the rescue, Rouge and Knuckles share a long moment gazing at each other, before Rouge snatches her hand away and retorts with ungratefulness and teasing.

History/Relationships

In the end, Rouge gives him the remaining pieces of the Master Emerald and stubbornly complains that "they stink like echidnas do!". Knuckles gathers the shards to complete the Emerald and glances over to her, muttering "I'm sorry if I hurt you..." and runs off. Before the scene fades out, Rouge gives a thoughtful smile over her shoulder before exiting. In Sonic Heroes, at the end of Team Dark's story, Rouge commented that she would go look for the Master Emerald, "since that irritating echidna is here." However, in the last scene, she went to Knuckles and coquettishly hinted about going to look for someone else's treasure. Knuckles smiles and says, "She never gives up, does she?" During the Solaris incident, Rouge and Knuckles were bitter allies during their mission to travel back to the present day but joined up with him to collect the seven Chaos Emeralds to bring Sonic back to life. During the Ifrit incident, the two teamed up. Rouge's reason for this is because she had a mysterious client who told her that if she found all the Emeralds, she would be rewarded. She teamed up with Knuckles in search of the identity of her client. They fight the Ifrit to get back to normal depending on which side you play. Knuckles also asked Rouge if she was alright when they won against the Ifrit, showing his concern for her, and the only reason why he fights her in the last level is because she's struggling to break free from mind control. During the Wisp incident, Knuckles explains to Rouge that he is at Starlight Carnival because he received an invitation from Dr. Eggman but proving that he did not get tricked. Rouge tells him that the invitation was written by her, causing Knuckles to burst into anger. During the Time Eater incident, Knuckles and Rouge oddly seem to be friendly to each other at Sonic's birthday party, as they are seen setting the table, eating, smiling, and talking to each other.

History/Relationships

They are also friendly with each other in Sonic Forces, and Rouge holds no qualms with being a spy under Knuckles' command, even acknowledging him as "boss". In Team Sonic Racing, in Dodon Pa's Grand Prix, Knuckles, and Rouge's rivalry is shown most friendly. Despite the instance of him ramming her in a race between their teams, they are able to be amiable with Rouge throwing some playful banter. Despite their improving interactions, Knuckles is still wary of Rouge due to her lingering interest in the Master Emerald, becoming defensive when she is even brought up. Knuckles and Rouge can get along well, but the former usually is annoyed by the bat's antics and obsession with the Master Emerald. Rouge has teased Knuckles with this several times, but he has not responded very positively to it. While Knuckles tolerates her presence on his island when needed, he has limited patience when it comes to Rouge. In addition, Rouge has been known to jokingly flirt with Knuckles, which flusters him.

Knuckles and Vector the Crocodile are on good terms with each other, having been friends since the Chaos Ring incident, with Knuckles considering Vector (and the rest of the Chaotix) one of his most trusted friends. However, they do not interact often with one another in the present day. Regardless, Vector gave advice to Knuckles when Team Sonic was fighting Metal Overlord, apparently acknowledging his great power. In Sonic Free Riders, the two did not have a friendly relationship, as Knuckles felt underwhelmed having to race against Vector and the rest of Team Rose, treating them like a joke as he was irritated by their loud behavior. Although Vector managed to defeat Knuckles one time, the echidna still said he would not get far with brute force, enraging the crocodile.

History/Relationships

In Sonic Forces, the two were comrades in the game, and they appeared to work very well together, as Vector was a high-ranking member of the Resistance. The two also appeared to have considerable respect for each other, and Vector unsurprisingly appreciated Knuckles for his aggressive (yet sometimes short-sighted) generalship considering Vector's own liking of non-peaceful methods.

Knuckles has known Espio the Chameleon for a good while and are close allies in time of need. They both have a mutual trusting relationship, with Knuckles considering Espio (and the rest of the Chaotix) one of his most trusted friends. They are not immune to minor conflicts at times, as Knuckles mentions that Espio once spread through reading a book to him very quickly, also spoiling the ending for him, much to Knuckles' dismay.

Knuckles first met Blaze the Cat when Cream wanted Blaze to be friends with him. Knuckles was initially very friendly and cordial towards Blaze before he noticed Blaze holding a few Sol Emeralds, which he mistook for Chaos Emeralds. He, therefore, gave Blaze advice to give them to Sonic. Blaze got angry at Knuckles and told him that she did not have any Chaos Emeralds. Knuckles then got angry at her and accused her of lying, and then made an attempt to attack her. Blaze dodged Knuckles' attack and knocked him out, leaving him to lie in a crevice. When Knuckles regained consciousness, he developed a loathing towards Blaze and wanted revenge. When they met once again, Knuckles nearly started a fight with Blaze, but he was stopped by Amy. Cream also convinced Blaze that Knuckles was actually a "nice guy", which made Blaze feel relieved. Soon, Knuckles let go of his grudge and befriended Blaze.

History/Relationships

Knuckles first met Bark the Polar Bear during the Death Egg II incident, Knuckles after that considers Bark one of his rivals but not a friendly one either. Knuckles will even tease his ability to beat him in a fight which would give Bark the consent that he is weak, but him and Knuckles are not buddies nor friends either.

When Knuckles and Storm the Albatross met, Knuckles punched Storm really hard while the latter was trying to commit a theft, which caused Storm to fall from his Extreme Gear. Ever since then, the two have been rivals over who is the stronger man. When Storm lost against Knuckles in the World Grand Prix, he falsely accused him of having cheated. During the MeteorTech incident, the two also showed a spark of anger when they saw each other again. In this encounter, Knuckles thought of Storm as a "meathead" while Storm wanted to settle the score between them, causing great tension between the two.

Knuckles and Silver the Hedgehog appear to have a friendly relationship with a small rivalry between the two. Although they do not have much interaction with each other, they have had heated battles with one another occasionally. Silver and Knuckles first meet, albeit briefly, during the Solaris incident. Despite only meeting in End of the World, Knuckles appears to be impressed with Silver's determination and cheers on the hedgehog in his fight against Solaris. Following the timeline reset when Solaris' flame was extinguished, the pair re-meet during the Onyx Island incident. Knuckles initially showed his dislike of Silver when he first met him, mainly because he thought that he was pompous and stuck-up. Silver's haughty and prickly attitude also tended to annoy Knuckles. However, they later put aside their differences and willingly teamed up together. In Sonic Forces, Knuckles was the first-person Silver warned about Eggman's attack, which led to the War to Take Back the Planet.

History/Relationships

In the game, Knuckles and Silver appear to be on very good terms with each other and work very well together. In fact, Silver appeared to be one of Knuckles' most trusted lieutenants, an indication that Knuckles has considerable respect for Silver.

Sometime after the Northstar Islands incident, Angel Island passed by the Northstar Islands. Noticing this, Knuckles decided to visit Trip the Sungazer to train her to become a better guardian, as he doubted her abilities as a guardian. In his initial attempts to train Trip, he ended up pushing her too far, causing her to run away crying. After thinking about past experiences with his other friends, he decided to change his approach in training her. He proceeded to apologize to Trip and explain his story to Trip, which Trip was fascinated by. The two then made up after Knuckles reassured to her that she is a great guardian. Since then, the two have had a more positive relationship with each other, with Knuckles acting as a mentor to Trip.

History/Relationships

Sonic the Hedgehog is one of Amy's best friends. During the Little Planet incident, she went to Little Planet after having a tarot card reading that predicted a "destined" encounter with him. Upon seeing Sonic for the first time in Palmtree Panic, she fell in love with him instantly, even attempting to hug him in Palmtree Panic, and following him to Collision Chaos, despite Sonic not sharing the same feelings for her. However, when Amy was kidnapped by Metal Sonic, Sonic attempted to rescue her, eventually doing so, after which Amy hugged him as thanks. Amy looks up to Sonic and identifies herself as Sonic's "self-proclaimed girlfriend" despite Sonic sometimes appearing annoyed by her affections. During the Chaos incident, bored of her mundane city life, Amy resolved to become more independent to win over Sonic's heart and be a part of his adventures by the end of her tale, feeling she was something of a burden to him due to needing to be rescued time and time again. By the end of it, Amy even proclaimed she will be a greater hero than him one day and will get him to respect her. Even though he seems nervous and occasionally overwhelmed by her advances, Sonic at least considers Amy a good friend and worthy comrade and is always there to help her out should the need arise. Sonic's emotional neglect, for the most part, does not seem to hurt or deter Amy, as she believes he is merely hiding his feelings behind a facade, which has occasionally been implied to be the case. During the Space Colony ARK incident, Amy goes to Prison Island on her own to free him. However, after he ran away upon being liberated, she commented on how he can be a "brat" sometimes in response to him leaving her behind. During the same incident, she also defended Sonic and believed him to be innocent.

History/Relationships

While Amy loves Sonic, she has shown on more than one occasion that she is not afraid to disagree with him if he does something she does not approve of. For example, during the Chaos incident, she stopped him from destroying Gamma, telling him that Gamma was her friend and he is not evil. As of the Neo Metal Sonic incident, Amy had become significantly more aggressive and short-sighted about her infatuation and desire to prove herself to Sonic, win his heart, and prove herself as a hero. She challenged him, believing him to have kidnapped Froggy and Chocola, and fought against him to impress him. Her hard-headedness and stubbornness proved to be her downfall however, not listening to Sonic when he said that he did not know what she was talking about, leading to him pretending to be defeated so he can run away. She later got furious when she realized that Neo Metal Sonic was responsible for framing him, blaming him for the misunderstanding between her and Sonic earlier in the adventure and cheering for Sonic to beat him.

During the Emerl incident, Amy becomes enamored with "boxercise" as part of her arduous physical training to impress Sonic with her adamant dedication, which somewhat worked, but also worried him. At one point, she asked Tails about Emerl, to which the fox explained that Emerl is like a child to Sonic. Amy took this literally and thought that Sonic wanted her to be Emerl's mother. Amy then took Emerl away and told him to call her his mother, thus making Emerl believe that Amy was actually his mother figure. Throughout the same incident, she also tried hard to protect Emerl after losing him to Rouge. In the end, Amy tried to get Sonic to propose to her, but he promptly shivered at the thought and bailed. During the Solaris incident, Amy decided to help Silver, unaware that he was tricked into believing that he had to kill Sonic to save his future.

History/Relationships

Upon finding out about this, she immediately turned on him, saying that she refused to believe Sonic would ever cause the destruction of the world. After discovering that Sonic was killed, she kneeled down and cried into her hands. She later shed a tear when Sonic was brought back to life. During Dodon Pa's Grand Prix, Amy rarely showed any romantic affection for him, while Sonic joins her in a picnic with Big and Omochao. Early on during the War to Take Back the Planet, Amy showed great concern about Sonic and missed him, having stated that she had recurring dreams where Sonic was still with them, which made her hold out hope that he might still be alive. When Rouge revealed to them that Eggman merely took Sonic captive and was keeping him onboard the Death Egg, she was shown to be highly relieved expressing contentment at her intuitions being true. She was later shown to be the happiest of all Resistance members (alongside Knuckles and later Tails) when she heard Sonic's voice on Knuckles' communicator while contacting the Avatar. A more mutually caring and affectionate side of Sonic and Amy's relationship was seen during the Starfall Islands incident, likely sparked by concern over Amy being partially trapped in Cyber Space. While exploring Kronos Island, Sonic often went out of his way to help Amy care for the Koco inhabiting the island and reassure her that he would find a way to get her out of Cyber Space. When the two witnessed a flashback of a pair of Koco lovers they had helped reunite as Ancients just before their deaths, Sonic gently gave Amy time alone to mourn and checked in on her later. Amy confessed to Sonic that she believed in the power of everlasting love but that they would need to go their separate ways for a while so she could share it with more people, and Sonic replied that he believed in her and couldn't wait to hear all about her travels.

History/Relationships

After Sonic briefly succumbed to his cyber corruption, Amy sacrificed her physical form to save him alongside Tails and Knuckles, telling him that he had that kind of love in him as well. When Sonic returned from fighting The End in either ending, Amy immediately rushed up and hugged him, and he hugged her back for the first time while greeting Tails and Knuckles. Since first meeting Amy, Sonic has developed a healthy and respectful relationship with her, and like most of his friends, she can be subject to his jokes and banter. As opposed to the past, Sonic is more open to Amy's demeanor which has exhibited more maturity, allowing the two to freely converse, especially in a work environment. As such, Sonic now willingly invites Amy on adventures together with him, appreciating her for her strength of character and skills. Together, their minds can seemingly unravel and pinpoint any clues given to them. This has led him to inviting her on more of his adventures. The two have shown their combined wits in a battle setting and have orchestrated efficient synergy. Amy also often reminds herself of Sonic and his tenacity, which is a great motivation for her in situations that are stressful to her.

History/Relationships

In earlier appearances, Cream the Rabbit and Amy shared a sister-like relationship, comparable to Sonic and Tails' brother-like friendship. This fact is strengthened by the Gemerl incident, as when they are paired together, they are given the title "Team Jubilee" and serve as a female counterpart to Sonic and Tails' "Unbreakable Bond." When Amy learns Cream's missing Chao Chocola is supposedly in the possession of Sonic the Hedgehog according to her clue, she insists on helping her find him and reunite him with his brother Cheese. Amy supports and encourages Cream when the latter gets scared and loses her resolve, helping her to continue their quest and to not lose hope. When Team Rose successfully gets Chocola back, her Chao cheer Amy's name in appreciation. Cream alerts Amy that Sonic is nearby, with Amy giving chase quickly afterward. The two are portrayed as best friends and also seem to frequent together almost completely throughout the Emerl incident, except when Emerl drags one of them away. Amy is also seen searching for Cream within the Cryptic Castle during the Black Arms invasion, which further suggests how much she cares for her. Cream will sometimes make innocent comments poking fun or putting into question Amy's fixation with Sonic. In Sonic Heroes, this gets Amy to glare at her, and in Sonic Rush, when she pulls out her hammer, Cream fearfully says "Not again!" in reaction. In some games, Cream is Amy's equivalent of Tails to Sonic, often helping Amy out or trying to get her out of bad situations like Amy's compulsion to push herself too far especially when aroused to anger. Though Amy is usually looking out for Cream, the latter has been able to encourage and inspire her enough to move her to tears. This has made Amy admit that Cream is her hero, having recognized her for her courage and steadfastness in the face of even the most hopeless crisis.

History/Relationships

Amy and Blaze the Cat are very good friends and have a great mutual respect for each other. At first, Blaze was very hostile towards Amy but they soon learned to be friends. Blaze has also been taking on a more optimistic way of life due to Amy and the others.

Big the Cat acts as an older brother figure to Amy and is most likely her other best friend. They form Team Rose and fight together during the Neo Metal Sonic incident. Amy regularly encourages Big and helps lift his spirits when he loses hope in finding Froggy. As a result, Big develops a very protective disposition toward her and Cream, saying to himself he needs to toughen up in order to protect them. He shows hostility towards Team Chaotix because he believes them to be bullying her and Cream.

For the most part, Amy and Miles "Tails" Prower have a good friendship, although he is aware of Amy's intense love for Sonic. Due to this, in games like Sonic Battle and Sonic Free Riders, Tails has tried to help Sonic get away from Amy. The two are good enough friends for Amy to stand up for Tails as seen in Sonic Riders when Amy is defensive of Tails when Wave made fun of him. Amy can be considered an older sister figure to Tails as she always supports him and encourages him as needed.

History/Relationships

Amy and Knuckles the Echidna butt heads quite often or express general frustration with one another’s personality quirks due to their similar stubbornness, but still overall seem to have a friendly relationship with one another. In Sonic Advance, Amy is exasperated and mocks the idea of Knuckles being tricked again by Eggman when encountering the disguised Mecha Knuckles. During the Neo Metal Sonic incident, when playing as Team Sonic, at the beginning of the fight against Team Rose, Knuckles will taunt Sonic about Amy saying, "Are you playing with that girl's heart again, Sonic?". In Sonic Rush, Amy calls him a "dimwit" before stopping Knuckles from starting a fight with Blaze. In Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, Amy budges in at the end of Knuckles' sentence, annoying the echidna. However, Knuckles is also seen protecting Amy and pulls her away and out of danger in the MeteorTech Premises. During the second World Grand Prix, Knuckles calls her "exceptionally dense" for expecting Sonic to make an exception and go easier on her of all his opponents. During the Time Eater incident, Amy accidentally hurts Knuckles with a great force, which causes him to crash into a tree, after he said that Sonic "wasn't half bad", whereas she thought he was "all great". However, Amy does not notice how hard she hit Knuckles because she was busy swooning over Sonic. During the Lost Hex incident, they work separately from Sonic and Tails in saving the animals from Dr. Eggman, Amy annoyed by him butting in and boasting he could better than Sonic. During the War to Take Back the Planet, they work together as part of the Resistance. Although they get along well in this game, Amy has to keep Knuckles in check at times, especially when Knuckles was more than willing to do the distraction at Green Hill himself, with Amy then saying that as the commander of the Resistance, he needs to stay at the Resistance HQ.

History/Relationships

Amy and Shadow the Hedgehog appear to be on good terms, however, it didn't start in the best of ways. Amy first met Shadow during the Space Colony ARK incident when she mistook him for Sonic. Later aboard the ARK, Amy met Shadow again and managed to convince him to save humanity. As Amy and Maria share the same insight toward humanity, this might be one of the reasons Shadow is on neutral terms with her.

During the Black Arms invasion, Shadow can choose to assist Amy in helping find Cream and Cheese. At the end of Cryptic Castle, Shadow benevolently advises her to be more careful. After the Black Comet was destroyed, Amy shows an amount of faith and admiration for Shadow, assuring Rouge that he would be fine regardless of anything bad that may have happened.

In The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow came to Amy's birthday party, and they even went to see a concert after the events of the game when Amy realized Shadow was trying to buy them tickets together as her gift. She reminisced on the concert fondly in the 7th Twitter Takeover, adding that she bought him a souvenir shirt in return.

History/Relationships

Amy and Rouge the Bat hardly interact, but clearly do not get along very well when they do. They only ever put up with each other usually because Sonic and Shadow work together on occasion. When they first met on Prison Island, Amy and Rouge were enemies, as the latter had been working with Shadow and Eggman, but they became allies towards the end in order to save Earth. During the Emerl incident, they fight several times over Emerl. When Amy called Rouge's house a "dump", Rouge was furious with Amy's comment and the two fought over an Emerald Shard. During the second World Grand Prix, Amy appeared disgusted by Rouge's lack of empathy for E-10000B when he was breaking down and her refusal to allow him to rest. The two have seemed to get along with each other in certain circumstances like in the Black Arms invasion and the War to Take Back the Planet, but this may be because of the high stakes portrayed in both games. However, she knows her well enough to recognize when she is planning something. For this reason, Amy does not always trust Rouge and demands an explanation from her when she is plotting anything. Despite this, Amy and Rouge are well coordinated on missions together. Amy also knows she can count on Rouge to be effective in any situation.

History/Relationships

Amy may know much about Dr. Eggman, but the scientist himself didn’t know about her. On the rare occasions they interacted, the doctor merely found her to be an easy pawn in his plans, using her to manipulate Sonic to ensure her safety. This extended to the Eggman persona used by Neo Metal Sonic, that found Team Rose to be an eyesore and condescendingly treated them like children. In the Space Colony ARK, Eggman held her at gunpoint as his hostage, until Tails saved Amy from the scientist, although he got the real seventh Chaos Emerald. By the time of the Starfall Islands incident, however, the villain would acknowledge her as a clever, tenacious girl that has grown from her earlier days as an easy victim. He nevertheless thought she had potentially incapable to reach if she kept following Sonic.

Metal Sonic is Amy's first ever kidnapper, during the Little Planet incident, until the real Sonic rescued her from Metal and Eggman. But the next time they met, Amy realized Metal Sonic betrayed Eggman pretending to be Sonic, and kidnapped Froggy, Big's friend, and Chocola, Cheese's brother, and her team along with Teams Chaotix, and Dark fought Metal Madness, before Team Super Sonic fought Metal Overlord.

History/Relationships

Amy and Vector the Crocodile, at first, did not seem to get along with each other in the slightest in the first few times they interacted with each other.

Amy and Vector first encountered each other during the Neo Metal Sonic incident. When Team Chaotix saw Team Rose, Vector wanted to ask Amy a question. Amy, believing him to be trying to make a pass at her, blows him off which irritates Vector and results in conflict.

The next time the two were seen together was in Sonic Free Riders. Vector joined Amy's team along with Cream to win the prize money Eggman advertised about his Grand Prix. Vector and Amy do not seem to get along. At first, Amy blames Vector for not getting them registered for the race even when he claimed that it was not his fault as she invited him to her team thirty minutes ago. Also, when Amy pretends that she was not expecting her and Sonic in the Grand Prix (because she wanted to prove that "lovers" are drawn together), Vector disapproves of her by calling her a "terrible actress". Amy also appears to yell at Vector and boss him around, something she does not do to Cream throughout the game, even though Cream is also a member of the team. Due to this, Vector is often annoyed by Amy's overbearing and domineering personality. During the War to Take Back the Planet, Amy and Vector worked alongside each other in the Resistance to defend the world from Dr. Eggman, although they never properly interact. Though, it can be assumed that they're better friends with each other nowadays and seem to get along more than they used to. And despite their differences, Amy and Vector nowadays seem to hold some respect for each other and can count on each other when the situation needs it. Amy was seen tearing up when Vector sacrificed himself to the Zombots, so everyone could escape and both were later seen dancing together at the celebrations once the Metal Virus was destroyed.

History/Relationships

During the Solaris incident, Amy mistook Silver the Hedgehog for Sonic. Amy, not knowing who Silver was looking for and why, insisted on them looking for their respective persons together. Unable to deny her offer, Silver was dragged along with Amy unwillingly for a while, and found her to be a distraction, while Amy became his friend and promised to help him find the "Iblis Trigger". Eventually, though, Silver's helpful nature kicked in and he set aside his quest momentarily to help her search through Dusty Desert.

Silver's alliance with Amy ended up being only temporary, which ended once Silver found Sonic and tried to kill him. When Amy found out that Silver intended to kill Sonic, she turns on him and criticizes his actions. Despite this, when they meet again after Sonic dies and Mephiles and Iblis fuse into Solaris, she doesn't seem to bear any particular malice towards him for his past actions; during his, Shadow, and a revived Sonic’s battle with Solaris, she encourages him to ensure everyone’s future, her faith in him restored after he realized he’d been deceived. Because of what happens at the end of the game, Amy and Silver met in a different way (though how is unknown). During the War to Take Back the Planet, Amy and Silver worked alongside each other in the Resistance to defend the world from Dr. Eggman, although they never properly interact. They interacted more after the war, as they worked together against Neo Metal Sonic, and Amy encouraged him to make a garden in Emeraldville Ruins. Amy seems to care about Silver, shown after he got hurt saving Sonic on Frozen Peak, Amy and Sonic took him to Restoration HQ to rest, and she thanked him for his heroism. After the new HQ's destruction, Amy lamented to Silver after the Victory Garden was destroyed, and showed excitement when she heard his plans of making an apple orchard out of the ruins.

History/Relationships

Amy and Mighty the Armadillo first met when they had to defeat Heavy King, After that they became good friends and Mighty was always kind to her and Amy would be kind to him in return. Even in the present day, she remembers Mighty fondly and still considers him a good friend, positively compares him to Sonic.

Amy considers Ray the Flying Squirrel as a very good friend, with that she will stand up for him even when others doubt him. When they first met, Ray saved Amy from one of Bean's bombs and helped her look for the Chaos Emeralds. In another incident, Amy and a Flicky were looking for people who are captured in capsules; while using her fortune cards, it describes the next person as "compassionate and supportive." Amy assumes it's Tails, but then the capsules reveal that it is in fact Ray. The Flicky made a mean comment about him. Then Amy snaps at the bird saying how he is always sunny and upbeat.

Amy first met Bark the Polar Bear during the Death Egg II incident, She seems to be the only person that knows of Bark's true nature, calling him a "big sweetie", for giving her his scarf temporarily during their mission to stop Eggman and Heavy King. But even in other circumstances when Amy shows him kindness, he will often blush confirming Amy's point. Not only that but Amy is the only person he is nice to outside his gang.
