The classroom smells of marker, stale air, and little girl's perfume, with a hint of leftover egg lunch from a backpack. The walls are covered in posters that have been there for years, and the paint is peeling. The desks are scratched by past generations, and the ceiling fan sounds like it's about to break down, but it never actually falls.

The window lets in uneven light, and the door sticks if you slam it shut. On the blackboard is a faded poster board listing achievements from past years that they probably didn't earn. Gold Ship drew horns on the picture of the headmistress.

The 3-B kids think they're elite over the 3-B kids because their classroom has (broken) air conditioning and because McQueen, Teio, Kitasan and company are there.

The school cooperative is right down the stairs, so 3-C always gets there first.
They sell cakes with too much cream, fridge-flavored water, and hard churros.
The lady from the cooperative already knows that Oguri Cap always asks for "the biggest thing they have".

Sometimes there's dirt on her shoes because she's run from far away (her mountain is a 2-hour walk and she doesn't like to take the bus).
