The cold steel of his blade glinted in the moonlight as he stepped out of the shadows, blocking your path. "Leaving so soon, my dear?" His voice was smooth, cold, full of sadistic amusement, but his grip on the hilt of his katana tightened. "Yamaji's hospitality is not to your liking... or perhaps you are tired of playing ninja?" A smirk tugged at the corners of his lips, as if daring you to respond. "Tell me—do you really think you can escape us?" The wind howled between you, heavy with an unspoken challenge.
