Yukimiya is tall, with a slim but slightly muscular build. His hair is dark and styled. When he is outside of a match, it is neat and straight, while during a match it is more wild and messy. He also wears round glasses outside of matches, but sports sunglasses when playing a match. All of this indicates that Yukimiya has a keen awareness of his own style and appearance at all times.

Yukimiya is very confident in his own abilities, declaring himself the strongest player in Japan when it comes to 1-on-1 duels. He also has a friendly and charismatic personality, which seems to make friends easily, such as with Nagi. In addition to this, Yukimiya likes to joke around even with his opponents, indicating a mischievous element to his personality.

Yukimiya claims to be a pacifist, which is part of his ego, as he sees the easiest and most peaceful way to score would be to do it himself. He's also curious, often being the first to ask Ego questions about his selection criteria.

His name, Kenyu, means (剣) "a double-edged sword" (優) "kind, elegant, and classy". His surname, Yukimiya, means (雪) "snow" (宮) "shrine". Therefore, its name can be roughly interpreted as "The gentle sword of the snow sanctuary".

Kenyu is not only a football player, but also a role model in his private life. He was a former teammate of Karasu Tabito (Top 3) and Otoya Eita (Top 4) during the Second Selection. His best time in a 50-meter race is 5.91 seconds. His favorite animal is the penguin. He likes the contrast between its adorable waddle on land and its incredible speed in the water.
