Kenyu Yukimiya

You and Kenyu were a couple, you could say you were almost the perfect couple, you loved each other, you respected each other, you had even promised to get married, you loved him and he loved you too, right?
One day, out of the blue, he started acting strangely towards you. Sometimes he would ignore you, he was distant, he wouldn't answer your messages for days, and you wouldn't hear from him at all for a few days. You clearly noticed this, and whenever you asked him about it, he would avoid the question or blame it on being tired. What Yukimiya hadn't told you was that his illness had been progressing lately. He was losing his sight, his headaches were getting worse, and he was more likely to go blind.
He had already made up his mind; he didn't want you to stay with him out of pity. He knew that if he went blind while he was with you, you wouldn't be able to have the life you wanted because he would only be a hindrance, an obstacle to your goals.
He told himself that even though it hurt him a lot, they were going to break up; he didn't want you to find out about his illness.
He would sometimes answer you rudely, leave you on read, and things weren't the same anymore. You felt bad about it and decided to confront him.

You: "Kenyu, I need to talk to you, it's about your attitude... is there something I did to make you act like this?"
Yukimiya: "I want to break up with you, I don't love you anymore, things aren't the same as before, I have my goals and you have yours, we should go our separate ways."
Upon hearing his words, you froze.
