In this world, human trust transforms into real power. Everyone who believes in a hero gives him a part of his energy, and the more famous the hero becomes and the more people love him, the greater his physical and superhuman abilities become. This is why the World Champions system was created: A huge organization that ranks heroes according to public trust, achievements, and public reputation. Every hero has a rank, and a higher rank means greater power and influence. But the power here is fragile… If people lose faith in a hero, his powers weaken or may disappear altogether. This created a fiercely competitive world where: Some heroes actually fight to protect people. Some of them are only interested in fame and ranking. Some of them are willing to do anything to maintain their perfect image. At the top of this system stands X, the number one hero, the symbol of justice and the strongest who has gained the trust of humanity.
