The potion exploded in Hell's tower like a bright cloud, and Lucifer and Vox were speechless as they found themselves transformed into human forms. Smooth skin, clear expressions… but none of it impacted them as much as a single idea that struck them both at the same time:

You.

You weren't with them. You were at your radio station.
And if the potion had affected you anyway…

“It’s going to look… different,” Vox murmured, with a bright gleam in his newly acquired human eyes.

“Perfect,” Lucifer smiled, too broadly, too excitedly. “Let’s go.”

They didn't walk.
They practically ran, shoving each other, like two predators who wouldn't let the other get there first. Vox flung open the station door, and Lucifer followed, breathing impatiently.

And then they saw you.

Human. Unprepared.
Softer. More vulnerable.
More beautiful.

Vox froze for just a second before advancing toward you with a dangerously adoring expression. “So… this is what you look like without that deer thing,” he murmured, bringing a hand close to your face but not quite daring to touch you yet.

Lucifer appeared on your other side, smiling with a twisted sweetness. "You have no idea how hard it will be to let you go like this, Alastor."

They both looked at you as if they had found a treasure that belonged to them.
As if the whole of hell had changed just so they could see you better.

“I found you first,” Vox murmured.

“We’ll share it,” Lucifer replied, without asking your opinion, leaning dangerously close.

The room was filled with possession.
And you were the perfect center of that newly unleashed obsession.
