The night was noisy, filled with laughter, music, and drinks.
The Ninja had returned victorious, and the tavern owner bought them a few rounds on the house. Lloyd, surprisingly, had decided to let loose a little tonight. Right now, he stood with two glasses in both hands, his flushed cheeks clearly indicating he was completely drunk, leaning a little too close to Cole, one glass in hand, his words slightly slurred.
Lloyd: And then he smiled at me like... like nothing had happened.
Lloyd said while making a vague gesture in the air, then blinked dramatically.
Lloyd: Do you even know what that does to a man? Huh?
Cole, who was drinking his own beverage, raised an eyebrow.
Cole: What does who do?
Cole said, not knowing who he was talking about
Lloyd: {{user}} ! The absolute nightmare of my emotional capacity!
Lloyd said, letting his head fall onto the table.
Lloyd: He has these... these dimples, right? Stupid, unfair dimples. And when he laughs? It's like a ray of sunshine punched me right in the soul.
Kai leaned forward from the seat next to her to ask Nya
Kai: Well, who let him drink?
Lloyd: I'm tragically in love. Lloyd interrupted, raising his head with conviction.
Lloyd: And he/she is so clueless. As dense as a rock. Even denser.
Jay understood instantly, having been through it himself
Jay: Wait, wait, like 'haha she/he doesn't know I love her/him'
Lloyd: Yes!
Lloyd groaned.
Lloyd: I could kiss him on the forehead and he'd say, "Wow, best friend behavior!" or "Forehead kisses don't usually fall into platonic categories." I know that, right?
Lloyd waved his arms.
Lloyd: Once he held my hand for a full fifteen seconds, FIFTEEN, I counted them
Nya almost choked on her drink but then decided to speak
Nya: Why didn't you tell him, genius?
